Leaving trumphets of jericho king in crimson kill devil hill soul intruders innerspace ciclops and many others to play an iron maiden song. I dont see the pointyes, he said it in one instagram post where he promoted his brazil solo gigs. he revealed he'll change the setlist a little and play revelations and shadow of the gods.

Im sure the main setlist is already chosen at least 90% of it maybe a year ago. And what they are going to do on each song backdrops, pyro and many other things. But i will wait to confirm the setlist 27 mayno way they'll play revelations, bruce will play that one in his solo tour.
and i believe that even the band didn't finalize the setlist by now. they are rehearsing nowadays and testing the candidates, the flow of the setlist etc. we know that they rehearsed some songs before, that didn't take place at the final setlist. so it's BS %100.
They probably know the setlist more or less, but rehearsals haven't started yet (right), so it's not set in stone, if true. And the order of some songs is odd.1.BQORBD

A bit obscure, dunno. The energy will compensate, no? The song was liked by the fans in 1999 and it's also their most speed/thrash metal song, so it should be popular. Definitely from their 90's albums.BQOBD would be cool to hear as the opener, but I wonder if they feel it's a bit obscure for the masses.
For American audiences...A bit obscure, dunno. The energy will compensate, no? The song was liked by the fans in 1999 and it's also their most speed/thrash metal song, so it should be popular. Definitely from their 90's albums.
you mean 1992?A bit obscure, dunno. The energy will compensate, no? The song was liked by the fans in 1999 and it's also their most speed/thrash metal song, so it should be popular. Definitely from their 90's albums.
Be quick is an IM song and its on their 50y career catalog afaik. And its a badass song for open the gig.BQOBD as an opener for a 50year anniversary tour, though? Even opening with Sanctuary makes more sense
Absolutely, Prowler makes more sense. Aces High, even though I don't want it, makes more sense...Number of the Beast, Trooper, Where Eagles Dare, many songs make more sense as openers.Be quick is an IM song and its on their 50y career catalog afaik. And its a badass song for open the gig.
But considering your scenario, prowler would make even more sense.
I hope they do 17 songs, since, as you said, the gig's tight range in the last years was 93-97 minutes (a 18th song would be amazing and will stay in the tight range). That setlist looks very nice, plus a possible 18th song, even better. Here's the length of the band's setlists over the past decade. It's quite consistent, in a tight range from 93 to 97 minutes:
There's a good chance the band will do 17 songs. A hypothetical setlist (not in order, of course) might be:
- 2016 (Book of Souls - first leg): 15 songs, 97 minutes
- 2017 (Book of Souls - second leg): 15 songs, 94 minutes
- 2018 & 2019 (Legacy of the Beast - first leg): 16 songs, 97 minutes
- 2022 (Legacy of the Beast - second leg): 15 songs, 93 minutes
- 2023 & 2024 (The Future Past): 15 songs, 97 minutes
That adds up to 93 minutes. (Drop Infinite Dreams, which is probably wishful thinking, and you could even get up to 18 songs - pick two of Sanctuary, The Evil That Men Do, The Clairvoyant, etc, and you're still in the mid-90's).
- Iron Maiden
- Phantom of the Opera
- Running Free
- Wrathchild
- Killers
- The Number of the Beast
- Run to the Hills
- Hallowed Be Thy Name
- Still Life
- The Trooper
- 2 Minutes to Midnight
- Rime of the Ancient Mariner
- Wasted Years
- Infinite Dreams
- Bring Your Daughter... To the Slaughter
- Be Quick or Be Dead
- Fear of the Dark
Murders in the rue morgue moonchild or be quick or be dead. But yes, they can use even only the good die young.Absolutely, Prowler makes more sense. Aces High, even though I don't want it, makes more sense...Number of the Beast, Trooper, Where Eagles Dare, many songs make more sense as openers.
IF you quit killers rime and phantom is what they used to play in the 90sMy vision of the setlist 2025:
Introduction
Be Quick or Be Dead
2 Minutes to Midnight
The Trooper
Wrathchild
Killers
Phantom of the Opera
The Clairvoyant
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Fear of the Dark
Bring Your Daughter...
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Iron Maiden
----------------------------
The Number of the Beast
Wasted Years

I think now, it's the most likely. ~ 95 minutes
