RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Yes.that setlist is a full classics song. No surprises. The only surprise confirmed is phantom of the opera. And is good to see that song again.
I wouldn't call Phantom a pure surprise. It's always cool to see it, an early metal and speed banger. Simon should play it great.

The tour starts in hungary so maybe they start reharsals at the end of april in Croatia again. With a new drummer....more than a mont in advance maybe.
Around 1 month (three weeks) before the first show is the norm, right. They migth need a little more time this time, but I guess Simon is practicing the set.

If they call the book Infinite Dreams, the song must be in the set...

Wasn't it the same thing with one of their beers a while ago? It had people going Oh, that's a left field and deep reference only for them to include it in a coming setlist. Can't remember what it was from the top of my head

Also unrelated, that book looks kickass

Sun and Steel? It is just a sake lager and that's why they named it after it and people thought it was a clue for the setlist.

I'd like to think a beer (Sun And Steel? it had a rumor though) and a unique book for the band celebrating an upcoming tour and anniv is a different matter. We'll see, but as many rare songs as possible, please.

Infinite dreams confirmed. Thank me later.

I thought someone posted on here that credible sources suggested Sun and Steel was intended to be in the 2020 setlist or as part of the original Senjutsu tour before COVID messed everything up.

I think the timing of the book and the way it is going to essentially be a promo for the tour is a pretty strong suggestion that Infinite Dreams will be on the setlist. Not a sure thing of course, but I would take it as a serious hint.

I heard some talk about this from a source I trust. Doesn't mean it actually was gonna happen. He may have been misinformed.

My setlist
1. Be quick or be dead
2. Only the good die young
3. Wrathchild
4. The trooper
5. Phantom of the opera
6. The clairvoyant
7. Rime of the ancient mariner
8. Killers
9. Fear of the dark
10.bring your daughter to the slaughter
11.the evil that men do
12. Iron maiden
‐‐------------------------------
13. Murders in the rue morgue
14.the number of the beast
15.hallowed by the name

Maybe i miss something. But somewhere in in think they will skip it. Maybe powerslave, die with your boots on...

The more I think about a potential setlist for this tour the more I’m thinking that the bulk of the setlist will be just the standard expected hit songs. All they really need to do to appease everyone is put in still life, infinite dreams and killers that were missing from Maiden England 2013 and then fill the rest of the set with the usual hit songs and they will likely appease both the casuals and the more die hard fans.

This would totally work for me and plus I’m going with the wife who’s only seen them once on the future past tour plus a few friends who’ve never seen them before so this would be ideal for us.

If they break out Infinite Dreams, that would redeem a lot of setlist omissions from the past.

That with Rime and Phantom is already an interesting set.

After playing the whole expected somewhere in time maybe they play one of the unexpected like the first encore of senjutsu and the future past tour. So the lonliness of the long distance runner could be a surprise.
and speaking about surprises, still life, infinite dreams would be. But they played infinite dreams during rehearsals in 2012 and bruce wasnt into it and i think they changed it for afraid to shoot strangers

I am sure it will be (mostly) a greatest hits fans for casual fans. Hopefully they’ll include some rarely played gems from the 80s for us die-hard fans, but if they do there won’t be many.

I will be going with the family, so a greatest hits show will be definitely preferred by them.
