RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Don't think for ssoass
My prediction is rotam and ttal
Also otgdy the only song from that record
To Tame A Land likely won't be played.

I'd say all 3 remaining epics from the 80's (Rime, SSOASS and Alex) have a better chance than To Tame A Land.

I have a feeling that the scene might change as they did with LOTB, but this time it will be built about albums and not pay-to-win videogame realms. Somehow, it makes sense if they go from IM to Fear while making the production bigger. If we go by realms (Legacy style):

Club realm:
Phantom Of The Opera
Remember Tomorrow
Killers

Beast over Hammersmith remake:
The Number Of The Beast
Run To The Hills
Hallowed Be Thy Name

World Slavery Tour remake:
The Trooper
2 Minutes To Midnight
Rime Of The Acient Mariner

Seventh tour remake:
Stranger In A Strange Land or Wasted Years
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Only The Good Die Young

90's stage remake (Donington 1992):
Be Quick Or Be Dead
Fear Of The Dark
Iron Maiden

Encore:
Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter or No Prayer For The Dying
The Clairvoyant
Running Free

I think they might do something like this, considering what they have done with LOTB. Cash in on the the best known tours from the era.

I saw like 2 years ago in an interview Steve saying that would be great to do a tour with only epics. This could be all for the fans. Epics and deep cuts
Doubt they would do that for their 50th anniversary tour... But stranger things have happened, so...

But I think they will have multiple set centerpieces next year, unlike Maiden England, Somewhere Back In Time and Legacy Of The Beast.

It's important to distinguish takes that Steve throws out himself, and "that sounds like a cool idea" in response to a pitch from the interviewer. If I recall correctly, the interview in question happened like the latter.

Nicko was playing this song with his band in dec 2023. IMO the song would have been played in future past if wasnt the stroke.

Yall cant say 100% the song wont be played next year...

I would find this a good explanation as to why The Parchment was not in the setlist: That originally TTAL was planned and these two songs shouldn't be in the same setlist because of a similar riff at the beginning.

Yes, I know there have been other explanations offered. That Bruce chose Death of the Celts because it was easier and better for him, but I've to be honest I have never really been convinced by that because 1) that is not like Bruce at all, who loves a challenge and has hardly ever put together a setlist that would have been optimal for him as a singer (Aces High as last song???) and
2) it doesn't fit with what he has said in an interview.

And if the original planning of TTAL was the real reason for Death of the Celts, he would of course never reveal the truth to anyone outside the band.

Honestly they have so much material to choose from it makes me sad they're unwilling/disinterested in doing a Metallica and playing double dates over the weekend as a tour concept with both nights having a different set. Obviously I don't think they could reasonably hope to do that in anything more than an arena capacity and they're filling stadiums with mostly single shows this time around so it makes perfect sense to do it the way they've always done, but man. Think of the possibilities!
Tbh, I like when a tour has its own core of specific songs and setlist. It has a certain charm.

Only 1 song from SSOASS? I mean, it's possible, but idk. Evil That Men Do?

Bruce listed as favorites/loves to sing the following songs in recent years: Rime, Seventh Son, Wrathchild, Killers, Murders, Prodigal Son, Hallowed, Moonchild, Stranger, Sign Of The Cross..

Only epics tour won't happen, not that it won't work with Maiden's material. And especially now. Some ideas are just cool.

Yep. And it would be interesting and cool. LOTB had 3 super long songs though.

This. Nicko likes to rehearse songs with his solo band. Like Stranger and Prisoner. Not exactly for TFP, but for the next tour. They know the song is very popular among the fans. Other songs Nicko has played recently with his solo band: Murders, Infinite Dreams.
To Tame A Land likely won't be played.

Because of the lyrics or because it will be very tough for Bruce? The whole set won't be easy. Or Steve wouldn't want it? I think it's possible, after Alexander.

I still doubt any song from SIT. Longer songs the likes of Rime, Seventh Son, Phantom, Hallowed, Fear and Infinite Dreams (for example) are probably the most. 3 80's epics would be something else. Make it happen!

Well said.
Y'all aren't ready for the glorious return of Wrathchild.
We are all excepting it.

This is actually a really cool idea, sort of like TEH game realms and it would work. But I doubt they would want to play loosey-album songs in a row. Although, why not. Also, 18 songs? It's more about the number, not the length.
