RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

So, Bruce says they will do “stuff we’ve never ever done before” and that it's gonna be a "setlist for the ages".

Will they play songs they haven't done before, or is he talking about new elements to the stage show?
It seems like Bruce just mentioned the whole thing of stage production (the stuff) and the setlist (of ages) separately.

I think the ''stuff we've never ever done before'' is more about the new stage show. But why not about a debut or even more of some songs.

''Setlist for the ages'' is a big promise, but again it could be ambiguous - the ever celebrated classics or ''full'' of deep cuts. With Bruce's hype and hints one should be careful. But maybe with the new drummer they will be even more adventurous, let's see.

I like how excited he sounds. Mistheria will love the shirt.

Only The Good Die Young is a main suspect given Steve's comments. ''Setlist for the ages'' should include songs like Infinite Dreams, To Tame A Land, Rime, etc... right, the most popular? I don't think the setlist is decided yet (Simon should have enough time to practice more songs; stage and effects, yes), but it seems Bruce has already thought the songs he wants to do and he's the boss of the sets now.

One of his ideas a while back was to do an Epics only tour - but I don't think the set will contain more than 3 long epics (most likely separately from Phantom/Hallowed). I mean, Rime alone takes up the space of 3 different songs. Which is not cool, I must say. So many great songs to choose from and the albums are only 9.

The question is -> Does this phrase imply songs from NPFTD or different ones from FOTD?

The setlist is decided and the stage effects for the songs too.

If we get the following:

Rime
Phantom
Seventh Son/To Tame A Land
Infinite Dreams
Only The Good Die Young
Killers/Murders (Bruce likes both)
Be Quick Or Be Dead (don't expect a 3rd song from the album, although I wish)
No Prayer For The Dying
Prowler (instead of Running Free)
surprise from SIT? They'll just add Clairvoyant. Or more deep cuts like Still Life, 22, Boots or Prodigal Son, wow.

^ -1/3, the rest classics and/or the likes of 2 Minutes, Evil, Wrathchid...

Then we have winner of a tour.

Honestly they have so much material to choose from it makes me sad they're unwilling/disinterested in doing a Metallica and playing double dates over the weekend as a tour concept with both nights having a different set. Obviously I don't think they could reasonably hope to do that in anything more than an arena capacity and they're filling stadiums with mostly single shows this time around so it makes perfect sense to do it the way they've always done, but man. Think of the possibilities!

I'd absolutely hate that. I'm not interested in seeing them twice in a row and such a system would guarantee that I'd miss at least a few songs that I would've preferred on the setlist of the second date.
