Currently the band is asking fans on social media to keep the use of mobile phones during the show to a reasonable minimum.
Good luck with that. Appelling to people's common sense, now THAT'S gonna work well, lol.
Either ban phones (like Ghost did), or be prepared to meet an ocean of mobiles as soon as you enter stage. Sad but reality.
That's another reason why big mainstream shows are a thing of the past for me. At those underground gigs I attend, you maybe see one or two phones here and there, but people come to enjoy the music and bang their fucking heads.
Sad but true, a Maiden gig these days is closer to a Taylor Swift gig than to a Thrash Metal gig. At least in terms of show and audience.
I am very glad I saw Maiden live several times before smartphones appeared at concerts. And before weekend rock fans were the core audience.

@ironmaiden.brasil probably, they'll try to live stream the first song and maybe a few more according to them, not full show though. Iron Maiden's official profile as well will probably live update the setlist.

I wish I could see this show indoors. Outdoors in the summer, the lights won't just have the same effect.
This might be truly outstanding show..even if they use giant LED it might feel weird since we are so used to the usual classic curtains.
