RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I must say, just care more about the stage construction, the show design, than the setlist, which is nothing short of the greatest hits parade, maybe with one or two deeper cuts.

I actually only care about the setlist. I don't care about the stage design and I don't think it will be that different to what we're used to. The Legacy stage can't be topped, but I was fine with the Future Past one too. The only thing I don't want is the poster Eddie running around.

the new fc shirt can be a hint that they'll play strange world or twilight zone or stranger in a strange land but not dune. sorry... and it doesn't look cool. i don't like most of the shirt designs nowadays and actually i'm sick of black shirts. they should do more green or red or brown or whatever.

I care the most about the setlist, but the stage design keeps me wondering all the time, for example something that keeps me thinking is, what will be the big Eddie? Probably a new one, or just picking one from the 80s? This tour is full of surprises, so everything in this tour cares to me.

This. Stage design and the show can enhance the performance. But the setlist is always the main course.

This. I think that if they play anything from SIT it will most likely be Stranger In A Strange Land. It's far from being overplayed, it's one of Bruce's favourite songs to sing and the band enjoyed playing it in last few years.

LMFAO

Bruce sings in what...20 or 30% of the song? The rest is just instumental.

And when bruce sings the most difficult part (?) is when he screams in the middle of it.
Not really, it's a difficult song to sing because of the really fast lyrics and really difficult words to articulate correctly. I think it's nearly impossible to feature in the setlist.

Funny enough, we got an extremely interesting hint right today that they probably WILL indeed play To Tame A Land.
There is a Tshirt update in the merch department, done today. I'm checking the store daily. It's the first new shirt in AGES yet, pretty unusual they don't update the store over a very long period of time anyway.
No one ever will seriously believe that these days (!) ANYTHING that happens would just happen out of the blue or due to whatever coincidence.
So, the TShirt is the Alien thing (an older Riggs design I think).
Check out the store. Eddie cruising another planet's surface with his vehicle.
The entire TTAL plot is based on the story of planet Dune. No other song comes to my mind that would make sense bringing a reference to some alien & outer space thing. And as it's not an "official TTAL design" yet (probably Mumford), they have put this one out as a FC item only, so they leave some space to come up with "the official" TTAL design later after the tour kicked off.
So wow, NOW I'm almost a 100% sure we will get TTAL (and yes, I myself have been one of the big doubters yet). However, they don't just come up with something like that out of context, and especially not just with a one (!) Tshirt store update. Not at this of time, just a moment ahead to the tour. And Bruno himself said the setlist is fixed yet, only a few days ago when interviewed in California. This is SO MUCH MORE than just a store update, this is a statement, mark my words.
It's an odd merch before the tour, but I don't think it's a hint, unfortunately. We've had other such examples in the past. And it's a FC exclusive merch. I wonder if we'll have the surprises released on shirts after the first show like last year. Which could fit. TTAL and OTGDY? Rime.
Bruce can do this, no big problem, little oxygen from backstage tank before this track. There is more than enough room for breathing pause/s.
The song doesn't have a lot of vocals, but there are some really high parts that are quite difficult. But Bruce could shorten them and still do them justice, methinks. The lyrics are another matter.

The setlist is the most important, but the stage show is really close for me and for a band like Maiden.

Stranger, Sea Of Madness or Alexander.

I never cared about the stage, not just for Maiden, but any bands that I listen to. They can just have their instruments and nothing else on stage for all I care. But the setlist is really important, and the main thing for me, especially for the bands that I have seen live multiple times.

I don't really follow this thread atm because I have far too much work to do these days and it's not getting better, however, one question:
A while ago I read some of you out there consider it a likely setlist scenario that BYDTTS will be the only song off of NPFTD, my favourite Maiden album.
Would you mind giving me a quick update how come you think so? Why do you rate deeper cuts like No Prayer itself or Tailgunner not likeley? Public Enema #1 e.g. would be also song taking not so much effort, they can knock that one out quite easily. And let's not forget back in 1990 they played 7/10 songs.
