I think the biggest surprise for us is the inclusion of songs from No Prayer for the Dying
The NPFTD album should get at least 1 song in the setlist.
Tailgunner, Holy Smoke and Bring Your Daughter are the most likely.
Dream Deepcuts: Hooks In You, Public Enema Number One
Should the song Fear of the Dark be given a rest for this tour?
No, together with Iron Maiden that song should be in every Maiden concert because of the atmosphere it brings. A gig without Fear would feel abit incomplete.
Dream Deepcut: Childhood´s End

My fear (pun intended) is that we will only get Fear of the Dark.

I think that, at most, they will play Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter (naff lyrics but a monster of a song live), Be Quick or Be Dead and Fear of the Dark if they want to have both albums represented.

Afraid to Shoot Strangers could be another option too.

The rest - sadly - belongs to the realm of (Iron Maiden) FAN-tasy.

My first Maiden show was the Real Live Tour in 1993, so I've only seen them do two songs from No Prayer, those being Tailgunner and Bring Your Daughter. I suspect that those are the two most likely that they will do from that album. But I'd love to hear Holy Smoke, or even more unlikely, Fates Warning.

From FOTD, if they were going to do anything they had never played before, then I've love to hear The Fugitive or Judas Be My Guide. But I suspect they might open the show with Be Quick, and include the title track and Afraid to Shoot Strangers.
They didn´t play Tailgunner in 93 though so if you have witnessed it it was in 92 then.

If there are 3 songs, I´m gonna go with the 3 obvious ones, being FOTD, Bring Your Daughter & Afraid. They´re not gonna drop the first and the latter two have been featured in the reunion era.

I think it'll be;

1. Fear of the Dark (can't see it getting dropped as this is more of a hits tour than a deep cuts tour).

2. Bring Your Daughter (due a return and would mean they're going to represent every album).

3. Afraid to Shoot Strangers (also due a return and they do seem like to like pulling this one out occasionally).

I think Wasting Love is also in with a shout because the band at this stage can probably play it well (an easier one for Nicko, Bruce would probably sound strong on it and also it would probably sound good with the 3 guitars), as well as the fact that it's bizarrely popular on Spotify (90 million streams).

There's a few others like here too eternity and quick or be dead that I think the band would consider, but probably not going to happen because they have 7 other more popular albums to get to and we're probably looking at a 16 song setlist.

Apart from the obvious "Fear of the Dark" and "Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter", my guess is:

Be Quick Or Be Dead
Public Enema Number One
and possibly Wasting Love

Dream Deepcut: Childhood´s End
That would be really cool but I find it hard to believe that there will be any true surprises from these two albums.

Now that they've done Alexander live, you could argue "nothing's impossible" but that one had been overdue for 36 years. I expect we're going to see many songs that have been played live a number of times before but not in the last few tours.

Being realistic the casual crowd wouldnt know a damn thing off No Prayer outside of Daughter and Tailgunner.

I think Fear will have the title track (obviously) and Afraid.

I would love it if they pulled out No prayer for the dying, Tailgunner, Hooks in you, Childhood’s end, Afraid to shoot strangers and Be quick or be dead.

We just will probably get Bring your daughter to the slaughter, Fear of the dark and Afraid to shoot strangers.

We don't expect the choices from the 90's albums to be adventurous, but I have a feeling the songs won't be the obvious ones: Fear, Daughter and Afraid. They played Afraid in 2012/2013, so it could be omitted. I'm glad they already played some songs from the ME tour again (Madness, Prisoner, or Heaven) so we don't have to expect them. I know it would be expected because they're great live songs, they've been played before and because they're not that tough for Nicko (Afraid and Daughter), but I think it would be a surprise if they play songs like Daughter/From Here To Eternity/Prowler again. The less serious songs. I even doubt Running Free, despite the video teaser. With guest appearances, it is more likely.

Songs like:

- Tailgunner (played 2 years, included in the 1999 greatest hits compilation by the fans).
- Be Quick Or Be Dead (included in the same compilation and is a memorable opener from one of their live albums).
- Wasting Love (popular song).
- No Prayer (easy song and always considered the best on the album, plus Bruce likes it a lot).

Be Quick will be tough for Nicko, be he can work it out like CSIT. These songs have slightly more chances than Holy Smoke, Hooks In You, Public Enema, From Here To Eternity. Btw, Judas Be My Guide is one of the most liked deep cuts.

We expect them to be ''adventurous'' with the 80's deep cuts, but why not with at least 1 from the 90's. 3 songs from that era seems wild, but why not. Instead of Running Free, Sanctuary, Wrathchild (if they play the title track) or Run To The Hills (which won't sound good for sure).

Something different, you know. I think the new tour would have been perfect in place of the ME tour. Come to think of it, songs from that tour (from SBIT too) have been played again or could be played again now - Madness, Prisoner, Afraid, Clairvoyant, Wrathchild, Revelations, Seventh Son, Evil That Men Do, 2 Minutes, Phantom, Running Free/Sanctuary, Wasted Years, Aces High and the usual hits. This is my least favorite Maiden tour of all tours (too long; they could have done something different after the 2008 tour, although it was expected because of the 80's concert video and they weren't that bold with the setlists). I hope the new tour won't repeat that, more or less. Such a tour needs a special setlist with surprises (especially now, we won't have many chances) and a special stage. The expected classics will always be there and like the current tour shows, just 3 of them also work.

Of the 2 albums, FOTD is the one that can get 2 songs - because the title track is certain and contains a great opener, plus some other popular 90's songs.

NPFTD will get 1 song for sure. The theme of the tour should make sense. Best case scenario is 2 songs from both!

I think Tailgunner is quite likely and might be a possible opener. I don't think they will open with Be Quick Or Be Dead (Nicko), though it would be nice. I only hope they don't play From Here To Eternity - I didn't like it in 1992.

Since they are doing stuff from the first 9 albums, it would make sense if they played two tracks from each one, but that is probably not going to happen lol. I would love to hear Fates Warning and Public Enema, and also Sea Of Madness and LOTLDR. The rest of the albums I hope they select some deeper tracks. If this tour is really supposed to be for "the fans", they might do some of that. We can only hope.....

I'm with you on Public Enema but not Hooks lol..

Bruce only performed Afraid to Shoot Strangers during the 1992-1993 and 2012-2013 tours. It's been underplayed, so it would be amazing if they brought it back again!
Nah.....there are much better songs from No Prayer than that one IMHO. ATSS starts out too slow and drones on like that for 2 minutes. I want to hear Fates Warning and Public Enema.

Those I think are most realistic as the band's choices:

Holy Smoke
Afraid To Shoot Strangers
Fear Of The Dark

My desired ones:

Hooks In You
Mother Russia
Childhood's End

"Fear of the Dark" is guaranteed, "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" almost guaranteed. "Be Quick or Be Dead" or "Wasting Love" would be great, "Holy Smoke" would be funny, but much to my disgust I think they'll do "Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter".

Btw, Judas Be My Guide is one of the most liked deep cuts

I'm obviously biased, but I don't see any type of tour, thematically, atmospherically, whatever, where Judas wouldn't be a great fit. The song would absolutely murder live and if I could ask Steve just one question it'd be why haven't they played it live at all.
