I was at the last two good natured 'power cut shows' by coincidence: Earls Court Christmas 2006 and NYC MSG 2008.

Obviously Paris was much worse (and I wasn't there). But one strategy is to turn the concert film into a 'triumph through adversity' story? So long as the cameras started to roll again for mariner. The gap will need to be covered somehow and they need the encore from elsewhere.

Most bands of their vintage would have stormed off, no way an Axl or Kiss or Ozzy (rip) late in their career would have persisted. Maybe Metallica might, but there is a 'Maiden spirit' in the story somewhere... call it 'Paris: Blowing the Grid' or something!
 
Patch it up with Eddfest and the rest of the tour. Go behind the scenes of what makes a tour at this scale. It could (and perhaps should!) be a different take than "just" a regular concert anyway. This being a celebration of a band that just turned 50.
 
Definitely worth another tour documentary - maybe turn the whole thing into another Flight 666, with a tour documentary/50th celebration thrown in with the concert film.
 
I hope there will be a replacement performance in Paris in 2027. I want you to do a few more performances without taking a year off! There was a power outage, so don't you think it's a good reason?
Also, what does Bruce in this video say in French? Tell me everything?

I was there, have to say the crowd reaction was amazing, no aggro at all.

Gig had been shaping up to be an all timer, they were on fire. Would have been a great video.

Steve needs to go back and listen to the album version of the "today is born the seventh son" section and figure out time signature though:lol:

Maybe they can use that part of the show. And 2mtm and the final encore from other show. They final encore usually is by night so the stage design would work
 
So unfortunate about the Paris show, especially if they brought more cameras for it and I read comments about how strong the band's performance was. They record all shows so it shouldn't be a problem for a Live Chapter style concert from different shows (a few from Paris, Knebworth, SA, Japan), but they really wanted the one from the arena, no phones, and not in daylight. Maybe they could use the encore footage from Paris 2025 (and 2 Minutes), but it might have a contrast with the performances, and the crowd. No excitement again, damn.

It would be so sad if we don't get a concert release after all. I'm worried. Record a stadium show in SA? But they had tuned in.
