Too bad some people bought tickets because they thought it might be Maiden's final tour or their last tour for a long time. :D

Higher snare drum is always better for the sound, if only the cymbals were too. I think what Simon lacks now compared to Nicko is the swing, which for a song like Infinite Dreams is needed. And not only, but I think he want to stick to the original drum patterns as much as possible, he could change them with a double bass if he wants. Maybe he now listens to his own drumming from last year.

Every performer, old or young, has off nights, that's normal. And this set is one of the hardest for Bruce.

Nice to hear. He said this during the previous tour as well.
 
Paris will get a heat wave the days surrounding the gig. Roughly 40 degrees celsius on gig day.

I will probably die. I could barely cope with 30 degrees in Bucuresti.

It was the same last year and they let people come with their water inside the stadium. The place has air conditioning and is so huge you don't have to be glued to other people

Doesn't Bruce Dickinson usually object to the air conditioning being used in the venues where he is performing?
