Of course there’ll be another tour. Bruce in Hanover again too: “We’ll see you aaaaall again!"
And they said in several interviews that they want to keep touring. Why on earth do people still have doubts?

(Ok, they could fall ill, have an accident, etc., but then we’d have to doubt every band’s future tours, misfortunes can always happen.)
 
Just came back from the Hannover show. It was kinda different this time. Both Dave and Adrian seemed like playing their role without much passion or enthusiasm, Dave in particular. In parts he seemed almost uninterested. Steve was also very professional as usual, but the show was definitely lacking something. It was my 57th Maiden show tonight, and I never saw them standardized and routine. A bit disappointing. I went home already when Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son was played.

Obscure X Factor songs/Blaze era might be a reason many people avoid the gig. Imo, they can play anything and sell tickets, but not Blaze era rarities, except Futureal or another fan favourite. They have other albums to dig deeper, if they want to.

Adding one or two to the set would be fine, it's not like it's the whole set

I watched a couple videos that @onurb posted. Of course I wasn't there, but I didn't get that perception about Dave and Adrian from what I could tell. I will cut them some slack though, they're pushing 70. God knows they are getting around better than me and I'll be 61 in a month. 57th show that's amazing, I'm jealous, heh. Sorry you left disappointed.

Sorry to hear that. It is a different phase for Maiden. No matter what we each feel about it, and no matter what they do next, it is the sunset phase. The last shows of Future Past (which I saw in Australia in 2024) closed a chapter that began in 1999. We are in a new chapter now and they still want to play for the fanbase, which is great, but it is undeniably different.

Hope I don't have quite the same reaction when I see this tour, and it is subjective, but I get where you are coming from.
 
I think Adrian didn’t want to make any blunders and therefore didn’t want to risk everything. But you can always read something into things that is ultimately subjective, and it is debatable where that really comes from.

I had a good time and wasn’t disappointed.
What I found strange was that in block W5, the first two rows were empty and the third was almost empty. The tickets weren’t available from the start and weren’t released right up until the end. Some people were still looking for tickets.
Very strange. It probably wasn’t the nicest sight for the artist from stage either.

I think is because the sound for me sounded very "clear" everything. Sounded good but too perfect. I missed the distorsion dont know. Sounded different .
 

Watching this compilation Adrian seems very animated, especially during RTTH chorus and actually running on stage during some songs.

I laughed at Bruce's "Shall we dance?" during 2MTM after almost crashing with Janick 20 seconds before.

They raised the tempo of Aces High that only adds to the pure vocal BDSM that song is for Bruce at almost 68.

Janick has also been changing guitars during FOTD after the intro for a few shows now. I guess Alan and him want to stay on the safe side tuning-wise after that behind the nut bend at the end of intro melody.

That is exactly what I felt (when actually there) too. I’ve been trying to find an explanation for such differing impressions.

I don’t agree with this. They seem inspired to me, and it looks like they have fun. Dave in particular is crushing it.

Adrian struggles a bit more with tempo every tour I feel, but he is extremely good at finding new ways to improvise and mix up things. But every night he starts Wasted Years I can't help but feel it's soooo slow.

Yup. He admitted that he was inspired by Richie, who is a master improviser and he now improvises 80% of the Smith/Kotzen solos live and it seems that some of that has crept into Maiden performances. Especially this year.

Agree on the Wasted Years riff/rest of the song tempo part. The riff is just too slow now. Adrian benefits greatly when Bruno counts it off during S/K performances.
