RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Isolated drums of Rime's first half from Simon's debut. Idk if it was shared before. More than solid enough, different fills.

edit: Bruce said he keeps the album tempos (Hallowed is a good example), but sometimes the instrumental part of Rime, the encore songs, Trooper feel a bit slow, which is probably what the band wants. Playing songs faster live is fine for me. I think he plays all the songs very good, the best are probably first 2 albums songs (and compared to Nicko), Hills, Seventh Son, Powersalve, Aces. I want to hear that fatter sound and cymbals with an official production.

Can't tell if the bass drum is hard to hear or just not present, but I'm definitely not hearing him hit those triplets.

I'm listening on my tinny tiny teeny teensy work laptop speaker so that could be why I can't hear it. Something I do like about Simon, which I'd taken for granted for now, is just how much the band can benefit from a rock-steady beat. Which makes me even more potentially excited for an 18th album with Simon on drums.

I'd also love to hear how Simon handles the newer, more complex and progressive material. If I'm not mistaken, he had rehearsed the whole set from the Future Past tour as a backup, which means he'd have rehearsed The Time Machine, Death of the Celts,

Edit: You'll notice the above sentence ends with a comma. I had more words, but my laptop disconnected from VPN as I posted and lost the bottom half of the post. I shall leave it like this for posterity. A monument to my shame.

Watching these days live at london 2025 its a pitty it was most of the show during daylight. Bruce sound great a few mistakes about the tempo dont know whos fault is during the clairvoyant and i think another one i cant remember. But one thing during thr clairvoyant bruce tries to reach the high notes and in another songs he should go back to live at donignton 92 his way of singing was great and not strained. Maybe the setlist was easier too.

From a new interview with Adrian:

“It'll be pretty much the same as last year. I don't know, we might do a couple of song changes, but I'm not sure— we haven't discussed it yet. But yeah, it'll be pretty much the same. I mean, the last tour was incredible, especially considering Nicko had to retire— and Simon stepped in and did a great job, so we're back up and running. Everyone's loving this tour, the audience is loving this tour. So you know, onwards and upwards kind of thing

It's probably unlikely, but why not Infinite Dreams for Aces or something. I like the inclusion of the last sentence.

A couple of songs changes? That is new. Maybe the drop aces high is painfull to see that show after show. He cant do it anymore at the end of the show. Must be the opener but not in this tour

More likely Wrathchild for The Clairvoyant

They are not going to change a thing. But since they are playing Greece, Aces for Alexander swap would make the most sense.

Another one I can see happening is Clairvoyant for The Evil That Men Do.

At least Wrathchild is already there, so they can't add it now. I think they might play Alex in Greece or just tease it or just sing a chorus.
The change I'd like to see is Prowler instead of Murders. It can still work with the whole London pub days scene and no need to change to an Eiffel tower. Another one is just to swap Aces for anything else really.

I would like this change too but i did see someone online discussing that the lyrics in Prowler aren`t really suitable in this day and age, so unlikely even if they did fancy a setlist change which i doubt they will.
