Loads of last year's footage.
I sort of agree with this. Personally, I miss more of their wooden or metallic drum sound:He would sound better with a better drum sound. It's a criticism I had of Nicko in the last years as well, the "boomy" and full drum sound doesn't fit maiden that well
Yes, iron maiden'd drum sound was always nice, but since this Pooch guy came, the drum sound is muffled. He would sound better with a better drum sound. It's a criticism I had of Nicko in the last years as well, the "boomy" and full drum sound doesn't fit maiden that well
Nicko sounded fantastic in 2018 with Pooch behind the mixing desk.Yes, iron maiden'd drum sound was always nice, but since this Pooch guy came, the drum sound is muffled.
I won't believe that number until it's official. My uneducated guess is 40k"State ERT television said Sunday that more than 50,000 people turned up to hear the British band at the Olympic Stadium in the first of its Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 shows."
Good attendance. No nosedive.
I like the drum sound but the cymbals can be too low in the mix. I also think the vocals are eq'd kind of strangely. Too boxy and not open enough.Yes, iron maiden'd drum sound was always nice, but since this Pooch guy came, the drum sound is muffled.
The weird sound (for me) started in 2022.Nicko sounded fantastic in 2018 with Pooch behind the mixing desk.
2022? I saw a show and didnt notice. During FPT for sureThe weird sound (for me) started in 2022.
Maiden 2018 was peak. Goated drum sound, Bruce's best year since probably 2009, revigorated band. I still hope for a live release of that european tour, hopefully a video one, even if it's just the screen feed.Nicko sounded fantastic in 2018 with Pooch behind the mixing desk.
EW Sydney, go watch them in Brisbane, and no I don't live in Queensland.Well, I must say I am officially very keen to see them in Sydney. No, it's not perfect, and I'm still not convinced by the screens (especially because of what they seem to have done to the ticket price), but god damn the performance level looks high and the setlist is not only a very good summary package for the three history tours, but includes a couple of songs that were unfairly omitted in their actual respective history tours. I take back some of what I said this time last year about the setlist - I had hoped too hard for Infinite Dreams that time, when I just needed some patience.
Brisbane for 2 nights would be great, small arena vs Sydney stadium show.EW Sydney, go watch them in Brisbane, and no I don't live in Queensland.
Saw them in Bris on the 2016 tour, and it was definitely a better location that Syd olympic park . . . but it's a lot cheaper to get to SydneyEW Sydney, go watch them in Brisbane, and no I don't live in Queensland.
Yes, until 2019 they got a perfect drum sound.J
2022? I saw a show and didnt notice. During FPT for sure
I'm northern NSW and don't particularly want to drive 6 hours to Sydney, plus smaller crowd = easier to get to the barrier.Saw them in Bris on the 2016 tour, and it was definitely a better location that Syd olympic park . . . but it's a lot cheaper to get to Sydney
