RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Trying not to think about it. Been saying Maiden should do something like this for years but money, logistics and a piss poor line up has prevented me from going.

Nether the less those that are there im sure will love it
The line-up is definitely underwhelming for me. Not really a fan of any of those bands. Saw The Hu on the FTP tour and they were interesting but not enough for me to go out of my way and see them again.

I had been waiting for the last minute to get tickets incase they dropped the price but doesn’t look like that’ll happen now

The support bands are woeful, i’d have much rather seen the Friday bands as the support or of course some of the other support bands from the tour e.g. Megadeth

But Maiden are my favourite band and you never know if it could be the last time so i’ll likely cave soon

A combination of it being too expensive for its rather weak line-up, having already seen the band on this tour, and other commitments more deserving of my time tomorrow sealed it for me.

That being said, 15 years ago I would probably had been camping there and making the most of the weekend at Knebworth.

Was gonna say that. 15yrs ago im sure id have gone but yeah I went to London last year, did the pilgrim to Cart and Horses, saw Gypsys Kiss and spent a fortune. Cant afford all that again and non of the friend's id go with can drive so it would be a ball ache as i found out in 2014 going to Sonisphere

The cost of tickets (£145.08 each) + camping (£50.85 per person!) + parking (£39.55) for my family would have been not that far from £666. If you add to that food, petrol, and some merchandising, the cost of the whole weekend would have been close to a grand. I really enjoy Iron Maiden's music, but these days I'd rather spend that amount of money on something else, especially considering that I have already seen them on this tour and, whilst very enjoyable, I was not that impressed.

That being said, I hope all of those who go to the show will have a great time.
