RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

I hope to never see Iron Maiden outdoors again. It's just not the same magic.
So with you on this. In Vienna the air was polluted with smoke from cigarettes. I’m aware people love smoking and stuff, but come on, like it legit gets difficult to breathe. Worst than that was people moving out from the centre and shit loads of shoving and pushing happening. It really ruined the entire experience for us and we ended up leaving a bit early, missing out on the encore tracks.

You don't want to see Maiden in Arnhem (Gelredome) in that case. There were quit a lot of people smoking in the standing area, despite the fact that there is an area outside where people can smoke.

There were people vaping, not smoking in front standing at the Manchester gig last month. Also a pretty aggressive mosh pit that was constantly knocking in to people who clearly didn`t want to be involved, a couple of fights were close to breaking out as people got pissed off with it.
I don`t think the arena or stadium setting has much to do with it .

I saw Dream Theater, Maiden, and Cradle Of Filth (as well as Avatar, Naraka, and Nervosa as opening acts) in the span of five days. Ironically enough, despite technically being the most "tame" band musically, Maiden had the rowdiest and most aggressive crowd by far. At least close to the stage. Didn't expect that.

Cradle were my favorite by the way. Incredibly tight and just fun all around.

I agree that the sounds in the Gelredome is pretty crap and when I saw Maiden last month at Graspop the sound was better. Have you seen them in the Ziggo Dome before? The sound there is much better and that venue was obviously designed for live music. I had decided never to go the Gelredome again after seeing Rammstein there in 2001 and have been to see Maiden in Belgium and Germany in the meantime, but I decided to give it a go and see them twice this tour. At least it was not as crowded as it was with Rammstein and could easily get quite close to the stage.

It was pretty loud indeed. I had the feeling that live show volumes in larger venues were going down a bit over the past decades, but since about 10 years ago it seems to be reversing again.
Sorry for late reply: No, I have never been to the the Ziggo Dome, thanks for the recommendation. Yes, it depends on how rooms are built. It was a nice evening anyways, and the people were great.

A hint for a date in Europe next year? They started in Slovenia in 2023. The tour poster is the same though.

Makes sense if it's going to be a big tour, like Bruce teased. If the setlist is the same, I think they'll play places they haven't visited this year. If the European shows are more than 10, then it could be like the 2022 tour, but plus an extra month. Starting in late May/early June/late July until October/November (early December? when was RIR?), depending on their plans for a new album in the fall (early next year is tricky) and whether Bruce will tour solo next year too, but I doubt it with his recordings. Adrian's solo tour is early next year and it's not long.

If they tour Europe (1 month), Asia/Oceania, NA and SA next year, there won't be a 3rd leg.

The fact they've updated the Slovenia division of Eventim doesn't guarantee a show there. In 2024 they were among the tickets alerts but the show happened in Budapest.

That being said, I'm kind of sure they will start in eastern Europe once again, do all the big festivals (aside Download maybe) and then head to the Americas, departing from Lisbon. I would say we would get a bit more than a month worth of shows in Europe.

Me, too. But what do you think about the possibility of some Asia/Oceania dates next year? Maybe just after Europe?
