RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Bruce yesterday:

''This tour, this setlist, is basically as closest you gonna get to the greatest songs we've ever done in the first 10 years.''

After the introduction of Simon: ''It's never easy stepping into the shoes as big as vacated by Nicko McBrain.'' ''And he has an advantage of course because you can see what he looks like because of the kit.''

Do you have a good recommendation for him how to get his illness off quickly? Maybe some steroid injections in his throat area might help him keep his voice in shape during touring. Maybe he is doing that from time to time.

A precise diagnosis within 48 hours of the onset of symptoms at the latest.
If it is e.g. Influenza A: antiviral medications Amantadine or Rimantadine, not antibiotics.

There is a lift underneath the cage, of course. We just don't see him because of the explosion.
Of course it’s an illusion trick but a lift would make it slow. If you check the videos in slow motion he seems to be there (he even takes his arm out just a second ago in the video I posted).

I know of course there's the one one the screen, but there appears to be a double cage - the one with the bars that Bruce is in, and a solid black curtained one behind it directly. I genuinely think it's a simple as him stepping back into a cage which is black and covered, whether through a curtain or a huge piece of Lycra membrane with a slit in it to avoid the fluttery curtain giveaway. Then he can climb down from there, out of sight, to set up the ending.

I dont know whether we discussed this here before but I love where Bruce disappears from the stage (in the cage) in Hallowed. And wonder how do they do it. At first I thought that there is an elevator or sth like a lid, and he falls just before the "explosion", but I watched some videos and that's so quick. For example:

Actually this looks more professional than the things Simon Drake did in Bruce's farewell concert :)

It is just a case of very fast Photoshop.

I didn’t think crowd was especially animated in the standing sections (I was on Dave’s side). So I see perfectly why the Pavlovian reaction provoked by Fear of the Dark has value.

Was there last night - loved it! BUT... was standing, about 20 rows back, and it was SWELTERING!!! I usually love to pogo around at gigs, but it was almost impossible as my energy was completely zapped by the conditions in the venue! I barely even had the energy to air-punch by the end... and it was the same for most people around me - everyone sweating like mad from the heat. It's a real shame, as I love to show appreciation for a band by jumping around as much as possible.

Tour programme says:

"Bruce Dickinson: Vocals
Dave Murray: Guitars
Adrian Smith: Guitars, vocals and backing vocals
Janick Gers: Guitars
Steve Harris: Bass and backing vocals
Simon Dawson: Drums"

Apparently Adrian Smith brought a full vocal warm-up kit, including a humidifier and a personal vocal coach.
TBH, Adrian is singing great this tour. I think his and Bruce's voice merge better than before.

Adrian Smith confirmed lead vocals on Aces High for leg 2
