RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

All of this is true and understandable (now), some of these songs are most likely played for the last time (although who knows after Aces again), but almost all had their chance over the years, while some rare, great and fitting songs for the tours not. How they not get tired of playing the same stuff, I guess except for the big 5 mandatory classics. With some changes (at least 4, the most 5, even 2), the set will be more interesting. 10-11 hits/classics plus 6-7 ''rare songs'' is a good recipe for every tour. With a new album is almost the same (5+5+5). The balance is important. For me, Maiden always make their tours interesting with something, unlike the other legacy bands, so a setlist like this (kudos about the new stage) is puzzling. Even with 11 (more or less) expected songs from it.
The setlist is almost what I expected. I'd swap 2 mins and Aces High for Still Life and whatever else and probably I'd replace Murders with Prowler or something, but that's all. I'd keep 14/17 songs and I think they did well overall. Personally I prefer Evil to the rest of the staples, but it's ok they opted for others, no big deal. I think they could make it a tiny bit more interesting, but I wouldn't change more than 3 songs. After all, their last tour was full of deep cuts and most of the songs they play on this tour haven't been played for a decade or more. Saying all that I'd love to hear Infinite live, but they obviously don't like how it sounds live.

After yesterday's show (and seeing a bunch of videos, I gotta wait a bit until it's my turn!) I'm more confident than ever that this won't be the final tour and that we're hopefully going to get another album.

That's what I've been thinking too, but I saw a Finnish fansite posting a totally different claim yesterday; granted, they pharsed it "likely the last tour" and gave no actual source, but there are couple of guys that I know have been, admittedly, correct many times.

However, as there's absolutely no official (or any proper) source backing this, I remain extremely doubtful.

Might be, again, just a hunch of some globe-trotting fan that has talked with some of the crew and, potentially, misunderstood things or whatever.

Oh joy, more "last tour they'll ever do" rumors

People have been saying that since 2010. Every day I find people on Facebook in comment sections claiming Maiden should've stopped after 7th son.

Let it rest please. If it's the last tour they will definitely let us know

Yep, those have been going around, but no need to worry yet. I remember when I saw Maiden in concert back in 1999. Little did I know then or even think, that they'd still be here in 2025 with us. How time flies... especially when you're having fun and enjoying good times.

I think (and hope) we definitely have more years, tours, and at least one album from Iron Maiden ahead of us.
What do you think?
I'm always optimistic so I definitely see it happening. With Simon on board I think they extended their touring days.

As for a new album, I hope so. Senjutsu was great in my opinion and I definitely hope for a new album tour after it.

If this were to be the last tour, it's the ideal setlist and show to do it with. But, I'd rather they announce that upfront.

But what about Bruce’s whole “retirement sucks” talk and the sudden resurrection of his solo activity around the time The Mandrake Project was released? I think there must’ve been some discussions within the band. Maybe their plan is to keep going as long as they physically can. Knock on wood, as they say.

I think Maiden plan to tone down the touring and that wasn't enough for Bruce and hence he resurrected his solo career. Leana pushing him and his pilot licence being gone (older than 65) could also have something to do with that.

I always thought that more referred to Maiden making a new album, which it seems isn't a certain thing and he was frustrated with that.

I do think this is likely there last full scale 2 year tour, but there is no way they are hanging it up next year. The future is just likely smaller, condensed tours of Europe and NA, giving plenty of time for Bruce, Adrian and Steve to dedicate more efforts to there respective side projects.

Something interesting I've personally noticed from the footage is that it seems Janick's mostly been sticking to his corner of the stage and not really moving around all that much. I saw him around the middle, in front of Simon in one clip but other than that he seems unusually planted in one corner.
I hope this has nothing to do with my observation.

Has Janick always had such large bags under his eyes? I've never noticed it that much.
And no, I'm not writing this to make a negative comment about his looks.
I just hope that everyone is in the best possible health and shape.

I doubt very much that a crew member would hint to a random fan that this is the last tour.
