"ROOOOOON.I think we should give Steve Harris a chance to sing Aces High on this tour.
I prefer Prowler to all. Classic early Maiden!Another option could've been moving Aces High to the main set, but they really seem to like it in the encore.. sigh.
As for Wasted Years, I still kinda disagree. Running Free is fun, but I still take Wasted Years over it. Prowler would be cool, but I personally feel it more as "either way is fine" rather than it being a preference over Wasted Years. But yeah, I think it's cool that they went with bit of a Maiden England type of setlist pace, which is positively unrelenting. The only stumble being the spot for Aces High...
Yep, there were bunch of nice pictures on the page. I like this one!
It's bad, but having Aces as an opener again wouldn't have been cool. You know, something different. I understand the inclusion and popularity of both songs -- I like Wasted Years more, probably one of their most effective closers (massive live), but it's getting overplayed and frankly boring.
Don’t forget Simon's small kit, reuse of Trooper Eddie, use of iconic "scream for me" and "Good night from Iron Maiden", and Janick not dancing enough (never thought I'd hear that one)In a month's time I can join you all in complaining about Aces Hovering-Slightly-Above-the-Ground, AI crossbows, the abomination of a setlist, Bruce's trousers, the weather and whatever else gets under your skin over the next few weeks.
I think we should give Steve Harris a chance to sing Aces High on this tour.
Let's hope that's not the case.I think the last point is not fair, because that was more concern than a complaint. (That Janick could have (had) health problems.)
You´re on fire!Fear of the mammogram?
And Yoko does the intro screams on Killers... As a tribute to the original Plastic Ono band. Why are you all laughing at my suggestion? Given what Bruce is doing to the song on this tour (butchering it, murdering it, you name it), I think we should give Steve a chance.
In fact, we should follow John Lennon’s example and create the Plastic Maidenfans Band, so we can all sing:
All we are saying is give Steve a chance

I don't mean comments like that; hell, I have them as well. Criticism is fine. I'm referring to more obnoxious rants that have no basis other than to mock or inflame.I think it's normal to have some criticism. The fans just want 1-2 changes, especially Aces, which is one of their worst choices ever! It's like it almost spoils the set. We have the right. Change:
1) Aces - with Tailgunner (a NPFTD song, they didn't want Daughter for some reason) to keep the cool Spitfire video, or with Be Quick (more action for Janick; a slower song like Wasting Love could work there too).
2) Wasted Years (although it's an anthem) - with Sanctuary, Running Free or Prowler (a tribute to the early days)...
and that's it. Is that too much? To have a more unique (like every tour, and memorable, too) set. Come on. All big hits are there, without Evil. Save songs like Infinite, Land, Boots, etc for the next tour. All good. You can't help but enjoy this tour. It's a perfect Hits set, more or less. Add one or two Reunion era songs and it's the ultimate Maiden show.
Also, some of the ''complains'' about the stage show (like for me: clip for Number and no inflatable big Eddie) are normal too when they present something new. And because we know they can think of better things for some.
