Finally bought the Rush - Beyond the Lighted Stage DVD and some CDs (Jethro Tull, Freddie Hubbard).

After a month I am still thrilled by the 2nd Tull album Stand Up.

It's so good that I don't have an urge to collect other Tull albums soon. I'll try to enjoy this one a lot longer first.

Two Cds, both Dream Theater:

Images And Words
Systematic Chaos

So far I have only heard the first couple of tracks of both albums, and I really like what I have heard. SC has a bonus DVD included, it has a 5.1 Surround Sound mix of the album and a 90 minute documentary Chaos In Progress: The Making Of Systematic Chaos, I will look forward to watching that some time soon.

Judas Priest-Sin After Sin
Judas Priest-Stained Class
Queensryche-Empire
Tape:
Nuno-Schizophonic

5 new CD's

Rush - 2112
Rush - Moving Pictures
Led Zeppelin - I
Led Zeppelin - III
Steve Vai - Fire Garden

I had previously owned copys of the two Led Zeppelin albums, time to replace the old ones, the other three albums should keep me busy for a while.

Well I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't like Moving Pictures.

So do I. The only song off 2112 I really like is the title track.

Vinyl

Avenged Sevenfold -- City of Evil
My Chemical Romance -- Danger Days
They have that on vinyl?? :O The artwork must look awesome.

Yeah, it is good artwork.  I have City of Evil and Nightmare on Vinyl ... looking for the rest of the catalog (at a reasonable price).

I have not listened to it yet, but Nightmare on vinyl sounds great, am hoping for the same with this one.

It's OK. Very different from Nightmare though. Beast And The Harlot is a great song.
