Of course it is! It has La Villa Strangiato.

Just picked up the Foo Fighters movie.

The Foos movie is great, right up there with Flight 666 and Anvil  in the good rock documentary category

I agree, saw it on TV beforehand. I thought it was better than F666 actually.  :innocent: I would love to see Maiden make a doc like that with a history and then footage of them making an album.

Yeah, I like 666 more too, but I think this is in the same general category of good documentaries versus the crap ones (generally those that are real superficial or just big adverts for the band).  The Foos documentary was nicely put together and hit the high points and the low points quite well ...The story about the first drummer for example was really interesting.

The better ones tend to be those where bands allow a professional outside party to come in and do it and give them control, ala Foo Fighters and 666.

I think you misread my post, I thought Back and Forth was better than Flight 666. ;) Besides that, I agree. I thought it was cool how Pat Smear played his last song before Franz Stahl played his first song in the same gig.

Because you misspelled the band's name you will be turned into a big pumpkin.
Mind you, the same will happen when you spell their song Halloween in the following manner: Helloween.
 Woops! I did that at first onto my computer too when I loaded the CD on there.

First thoughts: AMAZING!  :yey: :shred:

Ordered 4 CDS on Amazon over the weekend, 3 of which arrived in the mail today:

Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark
Iron Maiden - Killers
Alanis Morissette - Ironic (Single)

Now, I'm just waiting on No Prayer For The Dying to get here.

Along with my victory over my grandparents when I got Number of the Beast, I will be getting another IM album later today. I can get it under one condition- I am only allowed to get 3 IM albums, as long as I live here. (I can't move out for 5 years) I was thinking get Piece of Mind today and Powerslave after that. What do you guys think i should get?

That's a tough one. Piece of Mind and Powerslave are obvious ones. Maybe From Fear to Eternity and then you can have some of the best songs from 90's and up.

My suggestion for you is to get at least one reunion album: A Matter Of Life & Death, Brave New World or The Final Frontier.

Then get Best Of The Beast (2CD version). You'll get (mostly) best songs from each album. If you can't find it, get Somewhere In Time.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, she doesn't know because they are easy to get without her knowing since they are at walmart, but I have TFF and somewhere back in time already, and I will get from fear to eternity when I can pull it off.

Oh. Powerslave/Somewhere in Time/Piece Of Mind are good ones.

I'd get the compilations if you are limited to what you can get, wil strictly studio albums, I would get A Matter of Life and Death and Seventh Son or Rock in Rio/Live After Death for a live albums

Hhhmmmm.... I'm thinking about finding a way to get extra money and sneak in the cheapest IM DVD I can get... I was kinda thinking 7th son too, and maybe beg my uncle to let me have his copy of Somewhere in Time. The problem is hiding the DVD... I better bring in my purse. Then put it in there before I reach the truck. Oh well... Also I want fear of the dark, but it'll be hard to get without them knowing...

The Early Days DVD is a must. Live After Death DVD is on the second place.

Is it OK if I ask why your grandparents are so strict about Maiden? Maiden aren't satanists, junkies, criminals, murderers or something like that... I suggest you try to play them The Early Days documentary. I haven't seen in it in years, but if I remember correctly, they talked about satanism accusations and similar things...

They did, but at the same time there is a lot of "Fucks". I don't think grandparents are big fans of that.

Oh yes, I forgot about that  Well, at least they don't swear in songs, like rap musicians.

EDIT: Except "through the fuckin' ice" :D

I love misheard lyrics... It's a real finger. Anyway, grandma just thinks it's total crap and just noise. She says she cant understand what Bruce is saying. She also thinks Steve was/is a druggie, and Shr doesn't except the fact that they're all smart guys. My grandpa tends to think that guys with long hair mean trouble. I tend to think it looks nice.
