Random thoughts

You know, it is interesting the thought process of ones that do 'steal' from work.  Seems it is easy to justify it for them.  I think, in reality, that more 'shrinkage' (a term that I seem to recall from one of the stores I worked at high school era) comes from employees that think they are 'owed' for working the extra 5 minutes a night.

Financial Management and Economics teaches us that any sane company accounts for this "shrinkage" on their books anyway; just for this reason.

That aside, my random thought for this morning:

Jalepenos are so good going in, but man! they are so bad coming out.

We have a model for shrinkage concerning employees. 10% will always steal, no matter the circumstances. 70% will steal, given an opportunity and 20% will never steal. I think alot of the employees at my job don't steal. We sometimes tempt them by leaving extra cash in the tills, they have not taken the bait. I got only one with that trick. But Wasted is reight about employees believing that they are owed something more than they already get. We are budgeted for $3000.00 this quater.

My thoughts aren't random enough. I came into this thread to get them more randomized.

I want a snakeskin guitar strap.

Hey, I think it's working!

Indeed they are, but they are worth the crap. They are much better going in, though.

It's really.  Fucking.  Cold outside.

-22, -32 with windchill.  And that's in Celsius.  So, in Stupid Temperature, it's....-8 F, and with windchill, -26 F.

That's cold.

In Canada you use Celsius unit ?
I've never been in such a cold temperature.
The most I've been is -8 during my military service -but I was outside!

I've had -19° here a week ago. But now it's 5, though I can't remember whether it was -5 or +5.  -_-

I just said I use Celsius.  And it's been colder.  With windchill, the coldest I've ever seen was -52.

Prune, then you understand...it's balls cold.

I do. And don't forget, I've experienced three Canadian winters myself.

It was a rhetorical question LC  :P
What about other units ? You use the metric system generally ?

Considering that I'm not American, Liberian, or Bangladeshi, I do.

I really should abstain from alcohol. It's amazing how much shit a few drunken kisses can stir...
