Random thoughts

I can't because it's too cold outside. Either you or LC left the door to your countries open again and let the cold air escape. Did't you guys read the thread about letting your countires' inclimate weather out into the world. I'm an american and I am trying to do my part in contributing to global warming. This artic blast is'nt helping us to melt the polar ice caps. :innocent:
 
It is balmy compared for you but it is -11 Celsius. But I hate cold weather. My wife can't believe I play hockey with all the whining I do when it gets cold. My oldest brother lives up in Fairbanks Alaska and is always trying to con me into moving.

I grew up walking to school in 3 feet of snow and -15 below...

God Damn!! How long did it take you to shovel all of that? I grew up in New England and the last winter I spent there we got a meter of snow overnight. That is one thing that I don't miss. I am a wimp when it comes to winter weather.

When I got home from New Year's Day with the Duke, there was a drift up to my shoulders.
 
And people say the England is cold - well, we rarely get below -5[sup]o[/sup]C and when we do (or even get to -0.5[sup]o[/sup]C), the country grinds to a figgin' halt.




And the Scots take the piss out of us.

My mom used to chuck me outside to dig out her parking space outside our house...

THAT was a royal pain in the ass task...

I know 15 minutes is pretty fast. It used to take me 2 hours easy to shovel when I used to live near Boston. Where I live now we don't get much snow. If they get 6 inches it is considered a state of emergency. Still gets cold though.

But that is a normal English summer for you ,Albie. :D
 
Maybe he was using a 'Standard Minute' vs a 'Metric Minute'.  I am sure that a SM is longer than a MM, similar to a Mile being longer than a KM. 
 
You know Wasted, I've always wondered why there was'nt a different measument for time. Time zones I think fuck everyone up, then  you have turning the clocks foward and backward too.

We do get a bit warmer than that in the summer, not by much but we do. :D

Don't forget the wind chill factor though.
 
Is'nt it fucked up the first thing alcohol impairs is your judgement? I know a couple of friends who have 3 inch thick beer goggles. We go out to the bar, they meet a couple of girls, then they wake up the next day saying man I thought she was hot last night! That's why I am thankful I am married.
 
Let's just say that you got to beware of what you do, when you do it, where you do it, with whom you do it and who might see it.
