Posting a new meme everyday 'til Iron Maiden releases new studio album

Nope.

They don't remember the details we want to hear, and they won't get into anything controversial.
And if they did, they'd leave it for a book, not some random Twitter feed.

Exactly.

Honestly, it was a bit better than I expected (I've only witnessed one Twitter listening party before and that one was boring as fu**)
As usual, Steve and Bruce ran the show with Adrian chipping in. Janick could only say how does it feel to play some of the songs live and I expected more from Nicko. Davey... Man, that guy became lazy even on his opinions/impressions.

But to answer Perun's question: Yes. When it comes to Maiden fans expectations - the sky is the limit.

I actually enjoyed it. I didn't expect any new revelations, just curious to see what they would come up with, and I thought it was fun.

Twitter doesn’t pay its users, so there’s absolutely no way that Rod would allow anything juicy to be said.

^ Yeah.

I also think it was a good read thanks to Forostar's post and I don't mind the bands comments. It has further cemented my opinion that several of the Powerslave tracks weren't ever considered for a live set, seeing the lack of comments on them. The rest is a fun read.

Same. I wasn’t able to listen to the album during it but I really enjoyed reading the stuff they wrote. No big revelations, but little glimpses into the world of ‘80s (and later) Maiden. Bruce’s reaction to “Rime”, how they assembled 2MTM, etc, cool stuff. And the pictures accompanying them were awesome, some of which I’d never seen before. As a whole it was great IMO and next time I play the album I’ll re-read the tweets alongside it.
