So boring that he never had to get a real job and could make a living doing the same few songs for forty years.
I'm mulling over going to see him in Newcastle in October. I'm not a diehard Di'Anno fan, but it's nearby, and I've also seen Bruce and Blaze this year, so I'm kinda curious about seeing Maiden's other big singer. Plus I've probably been sucked into the 'last chance' idea. Also, the tickets cost more than Blaze's tickets, which feels wrong when Blaze is touring on the back of fresh (and good) new material.

Sad news - Paul clearly had his troubles, both with his physical and mental health, but he was a beast of a vocalist in his prime and with the first two Maiden albums he's secured his place as a part of heavy metal history. RIP.

Not really a fan of the Paul-era Maiden tunes in general, though I always had a soft spot for “Remember Tomorrow” and “Prodigal Son”. And “Wrathchild” is pretty great, albeit massively overplayed.

Killers was my first exposure to Maiden in 1981 and at least I got to see him perform with Maiden one time. I know it doesn't get much love around here but Killers is still one of my favorite Maiden albums and it's very special to me. That album led me towards all the bands I've loved over the years like Priest, Sabbath, Dio, and so many others. It was a life changer.
