Alexis Sanchez-Mkhitaryan swap is done. Not official yet but everyone reliable for both clubs when it comes to transfers has confirmed it. Straight swap, no transfer fees, although Alexis will get a huge signing bonus.

Alexis had 6 months of contract left, they should be happy with getting Mkhitaryan for free. If he chose to wait for Pep in the summer, they would've gotten nothing.

Alexis is a world class game changer. Six months of him is worth more than just Mkhitaryan, who had already fallen out of favor in United anyway. The initial reports always featured money alongside Mkhitaryan.

Liverpool gives Man City their first league defeat of the season, then loses to last-placed Swansea in the next round LOL

Not sure if anyone noticed or cares: After 14 years of foreign adventure (Arsenal, Man U & Fener) Van Persie (all-time top scorer for the Netherlands), returns home, to Feyenoord.

Fenerbahce were happy to see him leave, apparently he wasn't putting in effort in training, said "the club was lucky to have a player like him play for them" and also used to send the bills for everything to the club, like restaurant bills or tuition bills for his kids.

Fenerbahçe fans hated him. So much so that they were baffled at the audacity of him sharing a farewell message on Instagram.

He simply did not care, clearly thought he was too big for the club. Could've taken a page off Pierre van Hooijdonk or Wesley Sneijder's book and actually end up being a club legend but he was clearly happy just ripping the club off.

The European Nations League seems interesting. I thought it replaces "usual" practice matches between countries. And: crappy countries, such as the Netherlands have a bigger chance to qualify for the European Football Championships.
The normal qualification still exists, but the best 4 nations who do not qualify via the normal way for Euro 2020, will battle in March 2020 in play-offs for the last 4 Euro tickets.

Every penny that Croatian Football Federation loses is one small victory for Croatian people. Thanks for the tip Foro, may English victory be great.

Both he and his family (wife and kids) are very happy to back with Feyenoord (Netherlands). It was a mutual decision.

@The Flash

I like this. Sorry, could not resist
