And I'm not going to see this leg. Tickets are more expensive than in 2018 so I don't see the reason to pay more for seeing the same show :( however most tickets in Poland were sold on presales spree which will end today. Shame that others like me didn't have chance to buy better tickets.

I thinks it's a ballsy move, this tour. If they do manage to pull it off, hats to them.
Honestly, if they were coming close I'd see them (because ticket prices would again be reasonable)

Also, I don't think release on new album is dependent on this tour, if it weren't for this they would probably took a longer break or everybody would do something on their own. This being said, I don't anticipate it that much, not after Book of Souls, still felt a bit let down by it and it dragged for 3 years that one. I'd rather they drag another 3 years of some similar LOTB tour and different setlist which I'd probably go to see.

Don't get the deal about the Download, what is it with Maiden and that festival?
Is it their holy ground, like from '88 onwards? Do they feel it like they owe to their homebase fans so this looks like easiest way to pay them off?
And it's the same with the rest of the lineup. Like SOAD headlined 3 or 4 times with no new album. Now, I'd see them because they never came close, but then again, that is probably the reason. And KISS? Weren't they on farewell tour, that still on? Anyway, comparing to other European festivals, it seems week.

So yeah, if you have a chance, go see them. Even if you saw them two years ago.
You know, in 10-15 years there's gonna be an article about (then) retired Iron Maiden and you're gonna go: "Yeah, I almost didn't went in 2020, what a mistake that would've been." If you don't have plans to see someone else. In that case, see someone that you haven't seen before.

I don't know, this whole 3rd leg is kind lukewarm-ish for me. It's not that I mind, it's not that I'm excited about it.

Man, you still got a chance to buy plenty of better tickets in Warsaw.

Ticketmaster.fr has crashed and since yesterday I haven't been able to get good seats. Way to go for a disaster of a tour. Looks like I am out of luck this year, unless they pull an O2 out of their hat at the last minute.

I'll tell you something different this time. These are the songs that they not gonna change for next year.... :p

Aces High (the Spitfire is responsible for that)
Revelations (I think Steve had said in a interview this year that this is one of Maiden's best songs, so...)
Flight Of Icarus (highlight of the whole tour)
HBTN & TETMD (favorite songs of Steve to play live)
Iron Maiden - you know the reason.

There's a plenty of songs to add to that list, for obvious reasons, the tour poster alone being one, but definitely not the only. :p That's definitely a very different approach from the "which song might get replaced", but hardly anything new... ;)

You can add…
The Trooper
The Number of the Beast
Fear of the Dark
Run to the Hills

Considering this setlist change or song hints:
FFS they've put a mosquito on the poster mosquito only to say later that Rod thought there were mosquitos in movie. Now, I've never watched it, but I doubt there were mosquitos on mountaintop fortress in Germany in winter.

Also, loking at the "themes" there are dozens of songs which could they just slap into any part of the set and the fans would find numerous reasons why that song should be there. Wouldn't look too much into it.

You clearly are missing the point of the mosquito reference!

Rod thought that a De Havilland Mosquito - a World War 2 plane, not an animal - was featured in Where Eagles Dare.

I think the most likely song to be switched is For the Greater Good of God. Obviously, it would be switched for Wrathchild. But while there is a greater-than-zero chance of the setlist changing, smart money would be on it being the same.
