NOW PLAYING

How is it?
At my first listening. I will give a 6,5 or 7 out of 10. It has four or five solid tracks. It has a ballad close to the end of the album that they didn’t need to include it. I think it’s 14 songs or so. Too many in my opinion. And close with another good one. Good album in general but the ballad. I hope this band can turn in a long project don’t a one album collaboration.

When I was younger, smarter and trver, I had this small ritual of mine, marking the Fullmoon by playing Satyricon's Hvite Krists Død. Managed to do this while in the army even
being with the radio troops [of the air force, not that it matters really], thingy I was operating [one generation earlier than the one my dad used to operate in the 60s btw] caught Radio Sofia ok, and there was this metal program on Sundays; I remember playing a Mayhem song from De Mysteriis so loud on another occasion that the officer on duty literally ran to see what's happening
so time for it again, I guess:

Okay, I know it's, like, ten years or so, but if there's still room for some Peter Gabriel on our airwaves, I guess there's still hope.

I'm gonna be both Siskel and Ebert and give them two thumbs up, because for once in a pop punk song, it is not about the likability of the chorus, but the Sprechgesang (for lack of a better word) she does in the verse that is so catchy and unforgettable that I have a hard time stopping listening to this song.
