Nicko playing with Pat Travers Band, link has videos for 2 songs. Looks like it was for a very good charity. Nice job Nicko!

Page 4 of this thread:
Not sure if this was posted. The 2nd half is a lot of drum talk (Premier), but the first could be more appealing to everybody:

And again in a different topic:
Truly a wonderful move by Nicko! More people in the metal world need to do the same.
I am still hoping for footage of all this.

Meanwhile, here the whole 1976 Rockpalast gig with Travers:

Yeah Foro, I saw all that. But there's no concert footage.
The Drum TV interview is also interesting because Nicko clearly defines Maiden as a hard prog rock band.

Mention of Nicko on Eddie Trunk's site.

Sunday night was Deep Purple. I hadn’t seen Purple live since 2008 so wasn’t sure how well they are holding up. Didn’t know what to expect. I was blown away! They were always world class players and this lineup is no exception. At this stage of the game Ian Gillan isn’t going to get every note and scream, but he was a hell of a lot better than I thought he would be. After 18 years Steve Morse has really made his mark on the band and is a huge part of the show and out front with his brilliant playing. Ian Paice remains one of rocks all time greats, locked in with the legendary Roger Glover. And Don Airey does a great job for the late Jon Lord. His solo even had a touch of Mr Crowley! The set was nearly two hours. A couple new tunes (killer riff in Vincent Price) and tons of classics including Lazy, Highway Star, Space Truckin, Hush, and of course Smoke On The Water. Prior to the show I did an hour long podcast with Morse. I’ll let you know when that posts in a few weeks. Hung with all the guys after the show except Gillan who split early.

Roger even wanted to Stump The Trunk, too funny! OF COURSE I want to get them on TMS, but Purple tours all over the world and is not based in the US, so we will see what we can do. Total legends and great guys as well. Nicko McBrain was at both shows and I surprised the crowd by bringing him on stage with me to intro Purple. Nicko told the crowd the Maiden mascot was named after me. He is a trip! Such a fun weekend and thanks to all! Many photos on my Twitter and FB pages from both events. Two great bands playing at the top of their game for sure! I’ll be back at the Seminole HR 9/19 to host Experience Hendrix with Zakk Wylde and more! Hope to see you then

Thanks for posting : I'm not a big fan of Mr Trunk's, but the whol thing (most of all his nice comments on Purple) is nice to read.

Full vid of Rhythms of the Beast (1991). Enjoy!
And for those who're interested (& disinterested in all that geeky drum shit! :p), Dave is at ~1:25:00...

Also, I've put this in a new Dave thread:
Pretty much every other band member, past &/or present, has a named thread in this section of the forum. I know Dave hasn't really done a great deal outside of Maiden, but I think a thread dedicated to anything Dave orientated should sit here, in the Solo/Side Project Discussion, along with everyone else.
A couple of thread searches bring up a few old "Dave Murray" threads: (Gear) (Picks) [Thread closed] (On stage behaviour)
And there's a few birthday threads, etc, too. Nothing particularly noteworthy. There's probably not enough Dave chat to really justify this thread, but I thought it would be nice if it was all in the one place.
With this in mind, let's get started...
... with a Nicko video!
Some quality Dave lead work (~1:28:20) from the early nineties! :notworthy:
How do you like that tone, @Saapanael? I like it! :ok:

That's been previously posted, and there are boobies within, so I added a NSFW warning. Though it really should be NSFStardust.
