I think it is dave without his trademark legato filled sections. He also chose a very similar tone to H, i think. This one is a tricky one

And when The Final Frontier single was released, nobody expected the weird, layered mid sections of the second half. Being an old southern fella, I’m really digging the “bluesy vibe”. I mean Maiden is Maiden, and the intro was a good bit different than the straight ahead go get em from the start kinda song.
I totally agree that it’s better than the above songs with the exception of Wicker Man. And right now after a few listens i think it’s just as good as WM.

This is pure gutar porn by Ade. That perfect descending line and then the slow sweeps as in Omega...

And that Gilmourish bend at 4:51... Just perfect. (Now we know why he was jamming on Comfortably Numb track before recording this).

Also at the very end, it seems that it's both Adrian and Janick soloing under the vocals.
 
If they are making a big deal of the Eddie, you'ld have to guess he appears in more places than just this video.

I'm not mad about the teeth, a bit racist if you ask me.
