The EP consists of exactly those Brent songs -- he said: "[...] an album I wrote myself, and recorded with Brann and Troy during the ‘Once More ‘Round The Sun‘ sessions. My part is called ‘Cold Dark Place‘, and it has to do with a nasty breakup that I went through. I wrote some pretty dark, beautiful, spooky, funky, ethereal, melancholy music, which also sounds like the Bee Gees a little bit. [laughs]" http://www.theprp.com/2017/08/17/ne...-release-new-album-cold-dark-place-september/

I think this could be great.

I didn't make the link. I was expecting a LP. Anyway, I'm extremely curious to hear this.

I enjoy the guitars, the layered stuff and the solo (which is too short). Don't like Troy's vocals, Brent's ones are okay. The song starts interesting with that country like pattern, could have continued with that. Quite diverse sections in an interesting order, but not very dynamic.

    Meh.

Where is that Bee Gees bit? That sounds like it could be something.

Very late answer. I like a lot "Toe to Toes" (surprising intro, great chorus), but I'm still waiting for my CD, so I don't know the other songs yet. I'm really curious to hear that record. And I like the cover as much as I immediately hated Emperor of Sand's.
