A few years ago (2017) Martin was interviewed by Dave Shack for the Iron Maiden Fan Club magazine and he came across as a very nice man. RIP Martin 'Farmer' Birch!

I reckon we'll see a tribute to Martin in the next fan club magazine too, perhaps with some old stories. They tend to do that when someone close to the band (professionally) has died.

Hey, thanks alot for quick help. I just browsed the magazines and luckily #105 was among the first that I picked.
I remember this interview and it's was nice read, so for the occasion now Im again reading this one. Good that @GhostofCain mentioned this.

Yep, it was nice interview indeed, I had just couple cups of hot coffee as I read it.
Lots of nice little stories, the disappearing armchair and other funny stuff. I hope aswell that Martin saw Maiden at the 02 then.
