I'm a Manics fan, too, and pleasantly surprised that they not only played tracks from The Holy Bible but also three deep cuts from the underrated Lifeblood album ('1985' and 'To Repel Ghosts' are magnificent), which hopefully will get the same deluxe treatment next year that Know Your Enemy got.

Great news for both of us! Lifeblood is getting the 20th anniversary treatment it deserves. Release date: 12th April 2024



I will be getting the 3CD deluxe edition. Happy times!

The superb Welsh actor Michael Sheen set up Mab Gwalia, a charitable fund to provide opportunities to people from working-class and under-represented backgrounds, a couple of years ago. You can learn more about Mab Gwalia here:



Michael Sheen has put a good amount of his own money into it, as have some of his collaborators. One of those collaborators are the Manic Street Preachers, who support the Drama Student Scholarship:
