It’s the atmosphere. The way the synths and the guitars work together to create a heavy sound is one of the reasons the song is so good in the first place, and without it it wouldn’t feel as heavy as it does.

I never found Seventh Son to be a heavy song until hearing it live a few years back. The opening chords alone were absolutely crushing.
