How is it nonsense? Try playing a guitar like a bass, or a bass like a guitar. They're not inherently compatible styles. Words have meanings for a reason, it's way easier to differentiate who you mean in a band when guitarist means person who plays guitar, and bassist means person who plays bass. It's simple, it works, arguing semantics is pointless because the words make absolutely perfect sense and aren't confusing at all with this "narrow" definition. There is no ambiguity.
 
I am trying the headphones now. Compared to other headphones I have used the sound is really good, much clearer in places (e.g. the acoustic guitars on Revelations, which is the track I have started the listening session with). :D

I would definitely not have paid £199.99 pounds for them, but at £49.99 they are a bargain.

Edit: Empire of the Clouds sounds impressive too. £49.99 well spent!

Mine are being delivered somewhere in the magical city of Belfast, gonna wait some more time till they reach the heart of europe.

Arrived today.
Gave a very quick listen to To Tame a Land and Tears Of a Clown, cause I'm at work.

Maan they are very very decent! I can immediately notice some details unheard before - Bruces quieter vibrato continuing to sound even after the main word ends and other instruments are louder, some nice ding ding dong when Nicko hits the cymbals and the sound of the snares is like I am standing in a room where the drums actually are. (Comparing to tiny Xiaomi Mi in-ear Pro and Koss Porta Pro)

The design/colors could be more serious, but who cares.

They say earphones are best after hundreds of hours of burning in, so I am looking forward to them sounding even better.

I bought these last year, and still haven't sat down and listened to an album with them :lol:

I have the latest batch of remasters to be listened to, I must try out these headphones with them
 
Grabbed these last year, very good, great midrange (something many headphones ditch in favour of ridiculous bass and exaggerated treble) and generally a very detailed sound. I sometimes use them while doing audio editing as they're great for that.
 
Altough ... I have just checked Amazon and eBay and they offer them for a price equivalent to 50 quid. So no great deal is happening tbh.
