I'm glad that Satellite is considered a separate song here, since I wanted to vote for it, but not for Final Frontier. And yes, to me Satellite is better than Moonchild. It's fresh, innovative, atmospheric. Moonchild is just an average Maiden song, nothing exceptional.

It was painful having to choose some of these, particularly the third pairing and the last one, because I love "Can I Play With Madness" and "When the Wild Wind Blows" soooo much. 6-5 for Seventh Son..., which was expected, since it is my favorite Maiden album (and if it wasn't for the B-sides, the gap would've been bigger).

If not for the b-sides, this probably wouldn't have been so close. SSOASS is my second favourite album, whereas I find TFF the weakest of the reunion albums (though still good).

No, "Phantom..." also completely smashed "Fear Is the Key" in the very first round. I'm also pretty sure "Powerslave" also did it to "New Frontier".

7-3 favoring SSoaSS for me, easily.

There are some great tracks on TFF, but almost everything pales in comparison to SSoaSS. Only TFF votes go to Coming Home, The Talisman, and When the Wild Wind Blows (the only hard choice here). I certainly wish The Man Who Would Be King wasn't paired with a b-side, because it's the least deserving song from this album to receive a win.

Satellite 15... The Final Frontier split? Quite unfair.

Satellite 15... - Moonchild (I like Moonchild a lot, but I've always felt like I don't love it as much as most people do).
The Final Frontier - Infinite Dreams (I really love Infinite Dreams, but TFF is one of those super personal favourites that really resonate with me.)
El Dorado - Can I Play With Madness (Technically I think El Dorado is better, but I don't feel like going back to it that often while CIPWM is always pretty fun to listen to.)
Mother of Mercy - The Evil That Men Do (Couldn't be easier. MoM is the worst TFF track IMO and TETMD is definitely among my top favourite songs ever.)
Coming Home - Massacre
The Alchemist - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Isle of Avalon - The Prophecy
Starblind - The Clairvoyant
The Talisman - Black Bart Blues
The Man Who Would Be King - Sheriff of Huddersfield (Not a fan of TMWWBK, it would lose against many normal tracks for me.)
When the Wild Wind Blows - Only the Good Die Young (I'm shocked to see it lose so hard. I love OtGDY, it's a perfect song, but WtWWB is a modern classic to me. I used to be obsessed with it.)
