I uh... huh. Everything from SiT except for CSIT - it's fallen while Different World only rises.

Toughest match was definitely ATG vs. The Legacy - two perfect songs, perfect closers, both in my Top 20 overall. Last I ranked my favorites, though, Alexander #15 and The Legacy #19, so sadly I must vote for the Macedon king. Some of Maiden's (allegedly) worst lyrics VS some of the best in history - very interesting match-up.
 
About 5 difficult choices where I would not mind if the other song does better than the one I voted for. However, in the end result only a cold statistical count matters. Because this is about albums. Still I didn't vote with that thought in my mind. Every time I picked the song I like (sometimes a tiny bit) better than the other. Let's see how the best 20th century Maiden album does against the best 21st century album.

Damn, this is tough. I'm going to take my time before I vote on this one, as I'm completely undecided on several of these matchups.

I expect a lot of extremely tight battles all the way down to the wire. I'm very curious to see how it all plays out.

Some tough matches there, particularly the final one!
 
This was the toughest round yet for sure, due to some of the strongest tracks from each album pairing up with one another, but—my God, is Somewhere In Time overrated.

The Longest Day (You know what, I actually was on the fence here, I really like Reach Out. But then I listened to TLD and the instrumental part convinced me.)

For the Greater Good of God
Lord of Light
Hocus Pocus (I dig it a lot!)
The Legacy (Too bad it's losing...)

A lot of SiT songs that I voted against would win in different pairings.
 
I actually found this the easiest match up so far, no real thought required. I'm pretty much a fan of all the songs I didn't vote for. Pilgrim vs HCW was tricky-ish as I'm not too arsed about either one. The nostalgia for the 'take my hand' section swung it for me. These Colours and Thousand Suns are ones that I flip-flop on, next week I might have voted the other way. The breakdown instrumental in Sea of Madness is just sublime, a highlight of the album.

6-5 to SiT. Another interesting result as I rank AMOLAD a few places higher than SiT.

I see what you mean, it may negatively effect the flow but its a good bit, I think. That was my closest pick and I could vote differently tomorrow. Thousand Suns is nearly brilliant, in my opinion but it could do with some editing and it annoys me more than pleases me.
 
I generally prefer AMOLAD to SIT, so most of that wasn't too hard, but Alexander v Legacy got me thinking. Eventually went for Alex because it flows better, but I am fond of Legacy.
 
I like both songs a lot, in fact both are among my favourite Iron Maiden songs. I went for 'Alexander the Great' in the end but I like the three part structure of 'The Legacy' a lot. One big difference between the two songs is that when Iron Maiden call it a day I'll be able to say that I saw them play 'The Legacy' live. I'll never be able to see that about 'Alexander the Great'.
 
Lots of clear wins, but no annihilations going on here.
Except, the worst SiT era song is killing the worst AMOLAD era song.
