So SMX takes off and now I'm the cannon fodder. <_< And I thought the talkative ones would be more suspicious. :p

Colin has made quite a few accusations already, he's quick to point the finger in a direction besides his own. I'm suspecting Mafia. Which means the people he's accused likely aren't Mafia. That takes myself and Stardust out of the equation, as well as CFH but he also seems suspicious. He was also quick to jump on the SMX bandwagon. I'm thinking they may be in kahoots. Therefore, I second the nomination of Collin.

Edit: Looking at the thread again, I've noticed something else interesting about Collin. Like I said, he (Collin) was quick to jump on the SMX bandwagon. As in, he wasn't the first to nominate him but he was quick to join in when he saw it was gaining traction. He's just done the same thing with me. He jumped on the bandwagon again when CFH and Brigs began to suspect me.

The first time because it seemed reasonable, had mod connections, he also wanted to kill the doctor, only mafia would want to kill the doctor. And I nominated you to save my own life. So there you have it.

Exactly. Trying to keep the attention away from yourself by having someone else killed. The behavior of a mafia.
 
I wouldn't go as far as saying that. I was on the block to be killed, and I didn't want to die. So I switched votes, it seems reasonable to me.
 
So I had a reply typed up, and only had to write about Unknown One and Stardust...when my computer crashed. I'm recovering from a fever (and the only cure was more cowbell), so I'll just give a basic list.

Ariana: Town
Brig: Null
Collin: Scum
Cornfed Hick: Slight scum lean
mckindog: Null
Mosh: Null (although I haven't read any of today's posts yet)
Knickerbocker: Town
Night Prowler: Null
Perun: Null
SMX: Before he was godkilled, I had him penned down as null.
Stardust: Scum
Travis: Confirmed Town
Unknown One: Null (very slightly leaning town though)

Our best lynches lie within Collin and Stardust today, but I haven't read any more developments since mid-page 6, so I'll likely develop more reads from that and update some.

@LooseCannon I'd like to unnominate Cornfed and nominate Stardust like I did previously.
 
Well this is just getting stupid. Collin and I agree with Brigs, in part for mutual self-preservation reasons, and then she changes her vote BECAUSE we agreed with her. Whatever. What is the deadline for this Day 1 shit show to end? I'll check in on Saturday or Sunday and see what happened.

On the bright side, at this rate no one will get sufficient nominations and we don't lose another villager until the mafia kills one. Which is what I previously recommended.
 
To me, it would make sense that the three Mafia members would have very different lines of behaviour so as to make it harder to be be spotted as a group, for example one could be quite chatty and trying to plant a few red herrings here and there (let's say RTC), another one would be completely quiet (Night Prowler, for example), and the third one could be completely out of line, like Stardust. Looking back at the previous nominations, I'd like to nominate Stardust.
 
Re RTC's post - I still can't see both Collin and Cornfed being mafia, it would be taking far too much of a risk when they were briefly leading the list of nominations, and drawing maximum attention to each other, with or without each others' votes. One, maybe, not both.

Re Cornfed's post - Isn't this a team game? I realise individuals want to stay in so they can participate to the end, but if you're a villager and you knowingly campaign for the death of another villager, even in self-preservation, you disadvantage the whole team. IMO self-preservation tactics make you almost as bad as the mafia.

Unless I spot something very interesting, I'm not making any more nominations and I'd like to see the vote now. Should be interesting if the poll is public.
 
The poll will be public. I prefer that version.

Collin with 4 from Mosh, Knick, Stardust, and Unknown One
Mosh with 3 from Collin, Cornfed, and Travis
Stardust with 2 from Ariana and RTC
RTC with one from Night Prowler

@Collin is up for lynching. He has 1 day to post a defense, then the poll opens for 2 days.

(this should take us through Sunday, so not bad, we'll only be about 1 day over my intended timeframe of a week per game day)

People are all still allowed to talk, but the goal is simple: to kill Collin or not?
 
So I open my defense with what exactly did I do? Yes, it may seem as though I was very suspicious, I did hop on the smx bandwagon, and then I accused Mosh in attempt to save my life, even though he may be mafia. I stand accused of false crimes , I shall continue to plead innocent. To all those who accused me, you are reincarnations of Senator Joseph McCarthy.

And if I am lynched, I will scream Hallowed be thy Name before my death. That is all.
