It could also be interference on the Bluetooth bandwidth, or just a really shit antenna inside the computer.
I've researched this a bit more. Interference on the frequency isn't so likely asI just tested with the headphones first connected to the laptop (noise and buffering was there) and then switched directly to the mobile phone laying on the desk, next to the laptop - no noise, clear sound. And the noise also was there when I tested with the work laptop at home earlier this week.

The antenna could be the source, however I don't have the problem when I use the headphones during phone conferencing in Teams/Skype.. Maybe music is more sensitive (requires more bandwidth) compared to speech.
