McDonald's sucks.... Wendy's is the shit!

Yes, I did have a good drunk... all of Saturday was great. I went out and shot my compound bow for several hours until it started to rain. Went in a shot pool until it stopped raining, then poured gasoline on the woodpile and had a semi-respectible bonfire. My friend passed out on me so I found a spot where I could get a good wireless connection and I think wrote a psuedo-commentary on Operation Mindcrime.... the only thing I really remember though is ending my posting when Eyes of a Stranger came on because that just kicks too much ass at high volume and I couldn't write anymore (not like I was writing good to begin with).

Alcohol highlight of the day: Tried Double Bastard Ale from Stone Brewery, it's got like 10.5% alcohol. I had 2 pints of that and everything got really interesting.

I haven't touched that stuff in a year and a half. It was not a nice scene after 17-18 shots of that and some wackytabcky   mixed with a 155 pound me back then.

threw on 20 pounds since then =)

I used to puke at about a rate of once a quarter from hard liquor in my younger years. Now I don't drink nearly as much or often and I guess my stomach holds up better. I seriously haven't thrown up anything in quite a few years now.

I had no idea what Stone Brewery was - so I googled and found that it's a Real Ale brewery in California. Interesting, I had no idea how popular real ale could be outside of the UK (more specifically, England - as the Scots and Welsh are not so renowned for the stuff). You all take the piss out of us having warm beer - yet you drink it. :D

I love the stuff Albie. Double Bastard Ale is new and if you can get your hands on one, you should try it. It's a new take on the original Arrogant Bastard Ale but has more alcohol and more of a bite to it.

Whenever I'm abroad I'm always met with blank stares when I ask if a pub has any ales, which is why I invariably gravitate towards the Irish pubs for a drop of the black stuff.  :D

10.5% alcohol is quite something, though.
I like the label on it:

It certainly is Albie, 2 pints of it literally shut one of my eyes Saturday evening. That was on top of all the other American swill I was drinking too.

Wow! Good jokes and good beer!

I drank a few bottles of Blue Moon, but just wasn't in a getin drunk mood on Sat.

@D&N, sounds like a good time!  (mindcrime is a rockin album)

I just wanted to mention that Jack Daniel's is not hard liquor. There's hardly a drink that pours so easily into my throat, and that's the big problem with it.
