In other news, we are having proper winter in southern Norway. Over Christmas, we had plenty of snow, and now we're having cold that would make @LooseCannon start to feel at home. Forecast for the weekend hints at temperatures approaching -30 degrees C near Oslo, whereas several places further inland have already been well below that. And I have planned to go flying tomorrow ... I will have to dig out all the warmest clothes I can find.

It went down to -30 in eastern Estonia, -20ish along the northern coast. I heard it hit -51 in northern Finland, the coldest recorded temp. since 1999. This winter has been a proper one for sure, a beautiful one. Should get warmer in a couple of days now.

Well ... a hot shower took care of that. And I must admit, after yesterday's skiing endeavour the shower lasted a bit longer than usual - the electricity bill be damned.
