Time for a covid test. :( Negative - I see Electric Six tonight. Positive - well that buggers up my holiday plans.

Huh, my country completely forgot about Covid, no testing, no precautions, no news, it's mostly considered something like common cold at this point.

I'm looking at the health ministry website and it seems we have 6 hospitalisations, 0 confirmed cases per 100000 people in the past 7 days and 1 per 100000 in the past 14.

Honestly, my family got it last year, at the very tail end of the pandemic, and we've already kinda forgot we had it. Didn't even apply for the booster, it seemed useless at this point.

I don't understand how the situation is so different in different countries.

It is mostly being treated like a cold, but I'm not about to go to a packed gig or sit next to someone on a train if I have it. People with health conditions are still dying of it and it causes a lot of staff absences, especially in health and care services, and there are hundreds of hospitalisations every week.

I’m confused, you did go to the concert didn’t you?
And people die from common colds too!

Tested negative -> went to the concert. If the test would've been positive she wouldn't have gone.

I was there, yeah, and so was most of the BG metal community. Back then, it was the biggest Sodom gig ever, and I don't know if they ever surpassed it afterwards.
Last year, on the very same day 31 years later (was supposed to be 30 years later but covid and all), they had a great gig in Sofia again. And they were even better than in 1991, not everybody can boast that.
