Sure, but bad is bad, in the end if you don't fix the root of the problem which is spying no matter from where it comes it will backfire.

As a matter of fact it has backfired already. Why you think the COVID lockdowns were stopped so abruptly and caused government to loose such a face? Because of TikTok, people in World Cup were posting videos of packed stadia -turning locals mental that had to sustain all that- and in a matter of 3 weeks plus that fire accident in the unnamed province turned everything upside down!

3 years long super hard lock downs were ended in a blink of an eye, someone lost a huge amount of face and more than a billion people got Covid in less than a month. Not me
