He does the mirror part on occassion though. Quite rarely but still.
If you really, really try, you might be able to be perfect, but then you’d likely have to just be standing like a plank the whole night. It’s a matter of, “Do I want to hit these notes, and if so, which notes do I put my energy in?”

That’s cuz he’s not 29 anymore, nor is this a studio recording. Singing live is an entirely different beast. You have to match the crowd’s energy while putting effort into your performance and it’s often easier to curb some of the tougher parts so that you still sound decent. Singers can’t just be perfect all the time, and there’s a huge reason why they sound different on record than they do now… 30 some years later.
But look at how he sounds on Queen Of The Reich. Also, Bruce still hits high notes better than Tate.

Ya, that's true. And maybe Eyes Of A Stranger is a type of song that's just too hard for him to properly sing.

So:

We have a climate crisis. Central Europe has been hit by three heavy consecutive storms just recently, Australia is flooded once more. We have a global resource shortage. The Eurozone is starting to face serious inflation issues. There is a looming energy crisis in Europe especially because there is now also a war in Europe. There's also still an ongoing pandemic. All this has ramifications on social peace and stability in an increasing amount of western countries.

How are we going to get out of this mess?

Carbon capture technologies to reduce carbon levels in the atmosphere, adoption of greater green energy, use of hydrogen to power a lot of stuff, and the pandemic seems like we're just going to ignore it. So...you know. It'll be fine.

I honestly don't think our present society has what it takes to get that done.

For the third time in 2022 I have been headhunted off Linked In or at random. This time it's an American company that wants me to apply for their support manager job. It seems they may pay a ridiculous amount of money, so I'm taking the call, but honestly, I am not too sure that I want to move companies. They'd have to at least match my expected compensation that I'm sitting on ($35k in vesting stocks) + a significant raise.

Anyway I am waiting for their recruiter guy to call. He's late so I am curious if they decided to go running after looking over my resume. We'll see! Still a weird feeling to have people email you out of the blue and see if you wanna talk about jumping ship.
