CDs and DVDs have failed me in backup where I had redundant copies.
CD-Rs are less stable long term than production CDs, though. I have plenty of commercial music CDs from the mid-1980s that are still perfectly fine today.

That said, some of those Castle Maiden 2-discers from 1995 have started to degrade. The last time I ripped TNOTB I had to retry “Hallowed” about 15 times to get it to complete successfully. I almost gave up and bought a digital copy at that time, and that’s probably what I’d do if facing a similar failure in the future.

Buying tickets to see Paul McCartney in 30 minutes .. God knows how pricey these will be. But, I have never seen him, have been on a bit of a Beatles kick since watching Get Back, and not sure how many more chances there will be to see him. Added bonus, he is playing in a new arena in Ft. Worth I have been wanting to see
Got them ... after 20 minutes of picking a seat to just have someone snag them. $700 for 2 tix on the floor ... it better be fucking spectacular :)
I wish everyone would boycott the very greedy entertainment and major sporting industries and force them to lower ticket prices.

Holy fucking shit. Queen of the Reich, Tate live 2022. And it sounds awesome.
He seems to regained power over his higher register again, although not always 100%
There should be no reason why he can't properly sing Eyes Of A Stranger and hit some highs. He always goes lower on "that the mirror never lies" and the entire "is this all that's left of my life before me" part he practically talks his way through.

That’s cuz he’s not 29 anymore, nor is this a studio recording. Singing live is an entirely different beast. You have to match the crowd’s energy while putting effort into your performance and it’s often easier to curb some of the tougher parts so that you still sound decent. Singers can’t just be perfect all the time, and there’s a huge reason why they sound different on record than they do now… 30 some years later.
