Well it's probably best to stay away from Southampton today: they've shut Itchen Bridge. I remember what happened last time they did that ...

Anyway, stay safe and stay sane :ok:

We’re baking flapjacks and playing hiding and seek so it’s all good until I check the time and realise how early it is still. It’ll be a long day

Glad I’m not in town today. I work with trees and there will be a lot down today. Poor things

Ylenia unleashed her wrath over us yesterday, and there's a warning for Zeynep from 15:00 today. We're not going to be hit as hard as the coastal areas, but it's still predicted to be pretty heavy.

Yeah, and he enjoys playing Queensryche songs again. His backing band is pretty damn good at this point. I'd much rather see this than LaTorre QR. Can't wait until he plays here again in 2023 (same show I saw in 2019, but whatever, it will be awesome). He hasn't sounded as good as he has 2021/2022 since 2005.

I´d love to see both tbh. I saw Queensryche on their Q2K tour with Tate in amazing shape.

LaTorre QR is great, saw them two times (and got my debut CD signed, although Scott was huddled up in the tour bus). But Tate is always Tate (I'm pretending 2011-2016 doesn't exist). and yeah, I really liked his Q2K tour vocal style. Fuller bottom, although slightly decimated top, obviously.

Had a bragging contest with some friends/colleagues at lunch today about the celebrities we met. One of us started out with Dan Ackroyd, another continued with "a really famous Italian singer you all probably don't know but he gave me a kiss on the cheek", next person brought up the Ayatollah, but only when I mentioned "Steve Harris of Iron Maiden" was when everyone cheered and was in awe.

Buying tickets to see Paul McCartney in 30 minutes .. God knows how pricey these will be. But, I have never seen him, have been on a bit of a Beatles kick since watching Get Back, and not sure how many more chances there will be to see him. Added bonus, he is playing in a new arena in Ft. Worth I have been wanting to see
