Berlin marathon tomorrow. Huge.

Firstly is very flat and fast track. 11 World Records has been achieved there. 2018, WR by Kipchoge, 2019 second best time ever after an epic run by Bekele (only 2 second short of WR).
Now, Bekele, the biggest runner ever, 39, who didn't do Tokyo is there trying to beat WR. Kipchoge, 36, the biggest Marathoner ever, who is still recovering from Tokyo and normally he should only do easy runs now, he just flew to Berlin.
Everybody wonders why. It's quite unlikely he would run without preparation, so why?

Needless to say, I'm trying to plan my day tomorrow in a way so I can watch it somewhere.

Must be marathon season? We saw part of the Vienna marathon a few weeks ago. The route was directly in front of our hotel

Yes correct @bearfan Marathon season. Not too hot, not too cold, perfect time for running. Now it's the time to run Marathon, half-marathon of beat your personal best.
I went to the Park today there must been at least 150 people running around it.

I should gear up my training..

Tell me about it, downtown is closed off, public transport is a bloody nightmare, so happy this only happens once a year.

Well, that would be the long dinstance running GOAT Kenenisa Bekele, in about 25 minutes.

WR pace up to now, both men & women, great weather, great crowd. About 15 minutes to go. Bekele as usually run with a lot of heart, he covered a considerable gap. Competition is top tier too, Adola, also Ethiopian is leading by 3 seconds. 15 minutes to go the hour of truth is now.

Actually this could be the best crowd I saw in a Marathon.

EDIT: Adola won, Bekele 3rd. Adidas > Nike at Berlin, men.

1) Hotel .. I cashed in a ton of Hilton points and we stayed at the Hilton at StadtPark, which was a great location .. nice park right there and a short walk to most anything and a short walk to 2 major U-Bahn lines. View from the window, you can see the marathon on the background

I managed to see them on my phone at some point (not anymore) and could not see them at all on my Mac. I figured out it would be current hotel's shitty connection, VPN /Firewall things and what have you, but maybe finally the problem is from @bearfan side?

For me, Thursday night I'll be back and say for sure.

I usually download /copy them in my computer and then upload them in medium size ~500kB it works great.
