It was very obvious that they had some sort of obligation to give Maiden an award that year and El Dorado was the available release. It had zero to do with the quality of the track.

Also did some barrel rolls and most of them were quite OK.

Remember when Maiden won a Grammy?

Yeah, I don't think anybody does.
I don't remember it happening but I remember that it happened. I got the impression that the band themselves weren't that interested ("best metal band on a Tuesday morning" was how I think Bruce put it).

Two aerobatics lessons in two days takes its toll. I'm so tired today ... didn't really sleep well last night, guess the intense concentration during the flying + the adrenaline made it difficult to "come down". Had a couple of beers before bedtime but it feels like the hangover after drinking considerably.

Woke up at five and couldn't sleep again for an hour, was thinking about slow rolls ...

@bearfan and @terrell39 are you guys hanging in there alright? There's a lot of power outages going on in Texas in the middle of some extreme cold and winter storms.

We are doing okay ... roads are horrible (ice), but we stocked up over the weekend and really do not need to go anywhere. We have lucked out with no power problems so far, but some of our water lines are frozen, so filling everything up we can with water for drinking until we thaw out later this week. So far, one half of the house has zero water, other half seems fine

I've noticed I tend to prefer live videos to live albums, so I want to ask: what's the best Iron Maiden live video?
Me too. The best live video of Maiden is Rock In Rio or En Vivo! .... (and Live After Death & Maiden England, of course).
