Hmm, that said “the racist?” a second ago.
Yes, he apparently called people an English cigarette one too many times in his rhymes. I have a gay family member and I wasn’t particularly up in arms about it, but the forum has rules, and he was warned. Totally his fault. That doesn’t mean that he wasn’t funny and didn’t have anything worthwhile to contribute, he just took his tough guy shtick too far.
If you want to label and cancel anyone who’s ever uttered that word, get ready to say goodbye to nearly everyone who was alive in the 1980s, when it was tossed around freely by just about everyone, probably including every member of Iron Maiden.
