I'm turning 30 soon. I've acquired a taste in watches these past few years, after having received my late father in law's Longines from my wife and after that gotten a few others, as you tend do grow your interests. As I'm turning 30, I'd imagine the family would get together for a gift like we did for my brother. I couldn't keep my hands out of the cookie jar though. I bought one 2 months early, since I found it at an unbeatable price. I'm going to keep it to myself though until I turn, as it's a bit tacky to get ahead of them, in case they were looking to sponsor part of a watch purchase (as I've been set to get me one for my 30th).
I'm about done with watches though, I'll wear this as my primary watch for the rest of my life (it's not rich guy expensive, at all, although it looks quite flamboyant). A couple are enough, even if you're into watches.
