My colleague/superior and fellow Maiden fan today sent me an email saying, among other things, that he assumes I will be attending D(r)ownload next year. Anyone else planning on attending?
 
No good for me. I can't find one girl, let alone two, and I don't like the idea of sharing. I also wonder how it works long term. Say you decide you want to get married, do you marry both? Just one? If it's just one, how does the other take it? What if it's the other way around, and you're with someone who's in a second relationship and they decide they want to marry the other person but not you? Does that not make you feel a little inadequate? And what about bringing children into the equation? What if you want to have children with your partner but they don't, instead choosing to have them with their other partner? Do you then have to raise a child that isn't yours? Does someone else have to raise yours with you? Too many questions.

I think the real thing is that many people feel it‘s dirty or immoral, it’s not very well accepted generally. Right? On the other hand, it seems to be a bit of a trend recently.
 
Old school morality aside, I think the biggest concern is that one party will eventually lose out or get hurt. I know there are people who swear by this arrangement and say all parties are happy with it, but I also know of one relationship where one party involved is pretty much sidelined - exploited, arguably - and treated as a secondary relationship. They agree to the whole thing, of course, but I'm not convinced they're genuinely happy with the situation, they just don't want to lose the other people involved.
