Cross-country skiing is the hardest thing if you don't have the techniques down. Okay, swimming is even worse if you suck at it. Downhill skiing is very fun though.

I was thinking about the downhill and adrenaline thing. Cross country is always a endurance thing so no cigar there :)

Anyone else here thinking Cried is playing some elaborate prank on us?

I find both things enjoyable. Endurance training is great when it can be done in such beautiful surroundings as a snow-covered forest, between hills and across frozen lakes. A winter without cross-country skiing would give me a depression.

But downhill skiing is great too, and after I started doing that some years back, I need a few doses of that each winter, too :D

I've been hungover today too. I haven't left my flat all day or eaten anything yet. Didn't get up until after midday to have a shower then went back to bed.

There's a guy in Germany that had a boat made of front half of BMW series 3 from early 90s, while the back was like a very iffy built hunter's cabin together with a small chimney. He drove it from the BMW front seat using the car controls, the rest of BMW part was firewood storage which he was just back-throwing to burn in the cabin.

I've read this in some magazine a while ago on some ferry trip and this was a performance kind of a thing. The guy sailed the river next to some boat show. The cabin and firewood part were a show only.

I can't find it :(

I can't find it either, but I've learnt a lot about wood gas powered vehicles in the meantime.
